- Hour and a half later -

:: Stacie had been taken to a local medical facility, given a CT scan, admitted, and given a room. Kasino had been there with her every step...where he was permitted. Holding her hand. Trying to keep her calm...but she was still scared...she didn't know what was wrong with her. Now able to move her head again Stacie looks over at Kasino the same scared and worried look on her face. The same concerned look on his. Still having ahold of his hand Stacie squeezes it and lifts it to her mouth kissing the back of his hand. Holding it there she is silent so many worries running through her head...not to mention a killer headache. Pulling his hand down to her chest Stacie looks over at him and says to him. ::

" Kevin, Thank you for being here for me. It means so much to me...thank you.

:: Gripping his hand tighter Stacie continues. ::

" I love you...and I'm so scared right now."

+Truth be told, honestly and for the first time in years upon years, the big man himself was a bit frightened by the possible prospect of Stacie's condition being worse that they would have liked for it to be. His mind continued to replay the images of the steel chair crashing into her over and over, forcing him to cringe after each one still to this very minute.+

+He had stayed with Stacie every step of the way. Determined to make sure she was never alone in the ordeal or had to deal with the obvious and understandable fear that came with situations like this. His face was almost a pale blank expression listening to her words as she spoke to him, clutching tightly onto his hand the entire time. It was a bit of an awkward feeling for the big man honestly. Emotions he himself hadn't felt or dealt with for a long time now. Yet now he was forced to do so, also forcing a small smile from himself hearing her words, as he slowly lowered his 6'10 frame onto the bed she laid in as slowly as possible so as not to disturb her too much.+

I love you too baby. And no need to thank me girl. No way I was gonna let ya' go through all this alone ya' know? 'Cause I know you wouldn't let me...Just...Take it easy and try not to think the worse alright?...I'm sure you're gonna be alright sugar...I just don't get what happened out there though baby it's like...I dunno...Was just weird the way it went down or somethin'...

:: Scooting over a little she gives him a little room. Looking him in the eyes Stacie tries to smile but she can't. She's to scared. She wanted to know what was wrong with her. But she would try and not think about it right now. ::

"I know I'd do the same thing for you baby but I just had to say thank you. I don't remember what happened out out there...the last thing I remember is a flash of grey, then...darkness. What happend to me out there?"

+The big man shook his head, staring into Stacie's eyes with a blank look. He didn't really know himself what happened at that moment before the chair connected with Stacie's head. It was just all a surreal moment.+

I just can't really say baby...Like you just blanked out for a second...Just...Staring into space or somethin'...Was weird. I saw the look on your face and I knew somethin' wasn't right...Maybe you...Froze up or...

+His words just came to a sudden stop, turning away from Stacie as he tried to think of just what could have caused her to let her guard down like she did.+

"Well right before it happened I was lost in thought I remember. Something about Why Cynthia left...blaming myself. Something like that I think...it's a bit fuzzy still. "

+Turning his attention back to her as his face frowned up a bit...He was on the verge of anger once again hearing her words of the situation with Cynthia. He understood she was hurt by her friend and partner just up and leaving. He just didn't agree with her constantly beating herself up over it...+

Stacie...Let it go baby. That wasn't your fault. Hell friends don't leave friends if you ask me. You really don't wanna know my opinion on her ass right now. I know you love her and all but...Her ass ain't exactly here right now is she? You...You just gotta let "it" AND her go baby...

"I know I shouldn't worry or even think about that but it's kinda hard not to when I keep freaking losing. I'm gonna move on though. It's not gonna worry me anymore."

:: As she finishes a 30-some doctor comes walking in with a clip board. Reading it as he walks in he speaks up to both parties in the room. ::

"Miss Wilson, Mr Helms...her test results are back. It's nothing to serious. She has a moderate grade 2 concussion. We are going to keep her here for a day or two for observation. After that she just needs to rest for a week. No contact sports of any kind. Just rest and Ibuprofen for the pain.

:: Looking at Kasino the Doctor continues. ::

"Mr. Helms you can stay if you so wish...but please don't disturb Miss Wilson from her rest."

+He slightly nods his head in the direction of the doctor as he turns to make his exit. A giant relief was felt throughout his person hearing that things weren't too serious for his lady.+

Well that's a fuckin' relief...*Sigh* I was about to have a damn heart attack I gotta admit...

+He glanced down at Stacie, seeing the small smile on her face. Of course he knew it was forced but it was still good to see it at a time like this.+

Heh...That's my girl. Let that beautiful smile out girl. You got nothing to be worried about. The Big Man is gonna take good care of ya'. Just try to relax and get healed up alright? And the losses? They mean nothin' babe. Hell the Fam lost so damn much last year it wasn't even funny. But look now. We run this sumbitch. Just gotta get in a groove and get more in tune with things and you'll end up one of the better ladies on the roster I promise. Winning isn't everything. Damn I can't believe I said that...Heh Heh...

:: Finding out that her career wasn't over as she feared and that her man was going to take care of her Stacie's smile is a bit more genuine. ::

" I'd do the same for you. Now Kev...*Yawns* I think I need a little sleep."

+Moving his massive frame from the bed once again he stops in his tracks turning back to make eye contact with Stacie and replies...+

Uhh...Need some "help" gettin' to sleep do ya'?...

:: Giving him a shocked look Stacie asks. ::

" In a hospital?"

" I didn't say I wouldn't do it...We'd just have to be quiet."

+Staring at the door to the hospital room a giant smile comes over his face before turning to Stacie as his steps begin to carry him towards it...+

One sealed off room coming up baby...Comin' RIGHT up!
