(I feel like a fool for trying this but I thought it was a good idea at the time.)
I bought a AR Max with a Flash drive a few weeks back and tried using it for the first time today and can't seem to get it to work. I got it so I could start sending saves and not have to take some much of my time typing out Forms for each of my CAWs. But at this rate I could have typed up three CAW forms by now with the time I've wasted tying to work with this thing. (I write them out first the copy it off the paper on my PC.) So I was wanting to know if any of you can help me with my problem?

What is the problem, is it not responding? The disk not being read? I'll try to help but I need a little more detail

when I try sending any data from the memory card to the flash drive none of that data shows up on the flash drive. I can send data from card to card but just not to the drive. I've followed all the info that came with the device, and the disc loads perfectly fine but it doesn't seem to work.

Are you using a flash drive that came with the AR Max or a different one because i know not all flash drives recognize the saves so the flash drive won't read them.

Strange then the only time I've had a problem like that is when trying to use PAL format saves on my AR mAx which is NTSC.

on the discs it says "For use on U.S. console" and thats what I have so it can't be a formating problem.

Copy the save directly to the flash drive. (Don't crush it, or anything beforehand.)
It'll create a folder on the flash drive (for me it does anyways,) and then I have to use the Savebuilder on my computer to put all the files in the created folder, in the correct place. For some people, they don't have to do the Savebuilder part, as it automatically creates a .max file on the flashdrive. My AR Max didn't come with a flash drive, sadly, so I had to use my own.

I actually have had this same problem with ar max. I tried everything, and got the same result. I'd tried getting the codebreaker disk instead. Its alot easier to me anyways. Just have your memory ready of what you want saved, and then copy it directly onto the disk.

Even when you put the flash drive into your computer? It didn't make a new folder or anything?

Check the flash drive. Theres a little switch on it with a picture of a locked lock or an unlocked lock.
If the switch on the flash drive is pushed over to the locked side...It won't allow any new saves to be added to it. (Even it it acts like the its copying the save just fine, it won't actually add the save to the device.)
Its a small switch, sometimes barely noticeable...But I had this problem before too and that fixed it.

Hmmm. Ya sure?
Is it the green and silver model?
If so, there should be s little switch type thing on the save device somewhere...
But, maybe you got a different model...so idk.
