*It was the beginning of the first ever PPV for Action Packed Wrestling. Battlezone. A showcase of talent that would show the world just what the young promotion would offer for years and years to come in the wrestling industry. Emily and her camera man made their way through the hallways in search of one of the newest acquisitions of the roster. A man who was widely known around the world as one of, if not the best, in ring competitor of his generation.
She stood outside of the man's locker room as she took a second to look at the gold engraved name on the front of the door. With a knock on the door, she began the wait to see if one of the newest roster members would have a word with her on the signing to APW and his debut match on tonights card.*

Togo's agent Akio opens the door, and looks over Ms. Blake and the cameraman, he speaks in his native tongue in the direction of the room then steps aside. Togo himself is now seen that door, dressed in his typical entrance attire of a red warmup suit with the Japanese flag embroidered on the left breast.

Konnichiwa Mr. Togo. I'm Emily Blake, Backstage reporter for Action Packed Wrestling and I was wondering if I could get a few words from you this evening before the big show and your personal APW debut? Of course if I'm not disturbing you that is sir?

Thank you Mr. Togo. There seems to be a lot of speculation about the reason for your arrival here in APW. Someone of your stature and career accomplishments obviously has nothing more to prove inside of the ring. Your WWA run has cemented you as a sure fire hall of famer Mr. Togo, so that forces the fans and superstars alike to wonder just why DID you choose to take on yet another challenge. Are you worried that your legacy could be potentially damaged if for some reason you don't live up to people's expectations of you?

[glow=red,2,300]Hmmm...the public's interest and insights have always been an important issue for me. I am not one of those who does this as a "hobby" or to "prove I'm the best". I have been in this business as long as I have merely because it is something I enjoy...and knowing the fans enjoy my work adds to that. I have lived up to expectation my entire career because those expectations have always been attained, no matter how high they may be.
It is like any other sport, when you do great things, the people shall always expect nothing more than the best from you, and so long as I wrestle, no matter where it may be...I will give my best to them. This place...to me...is the next great expectation that I must attain.[/glow]

*Emily raises an eyebrow at Mr. Togo's response. Impressive answer. She went on to get his thoughts on the man he would be facing in his APW debut match up tonight at the Battlezone Pay Per View event.*
I see. Well I'm sure you will live up to those expectations Mr. Togo. I'm quite sure. But tonight here at Battlezone, you are stepping into an APW ring for the very first time. And if my research is correct, you've never faced this man before in a ring. I am or course referring to the man who accepted the challenge you laid out just under one week ago. Mr. Jon Pryor. Another new acquisition to the APW roster. Your thoughts on the signing of Mr. Pryor as well as the forthcoming match between two of the best the business has to offer?

[glow=red,2,300]Mr. Pryor's impact on American wrestling cannot be denied. Putting such value on one man however is not only foolish...but dangerous. This is a place where everyone who steps into the ring has the chance to do great things...all that is lacking is the will to succeed. Jon Pryor has that will no doubt, but what he may fail to realize is that so do I.
This will be a grand battle. It will be a true test, for I have faced only a few men who match or exceed his technical accumen...and in the years he has wrestled, he has NOT seen anything like me before. This match will not dissappoint.[/glow]

*Emily laughs for a brief second as she too was sure this would be one for the ages.*
I'm sure it won't sir. Now, I understand that you have to prepare for that match up later tonight so I won't hold you much longer sir. But as my final question, I'd like to get your word the season ahead of us here at APW. What personal goals have you set for yourself and what direction do you see the company as a whole going in?

[glow=red,2,300]From what I see...there are no flukes. There is only opportunity, and those who are willing to seize it. Just looking at the Main Event, it is full of opportunity. 4 men who have earned it, and 2 more to be selected, who no doubt will BE selected because they have earned it. Battlezone will be a worthy beginning to a promotion I believe will be one of the best in the world.
My personal goal here is simple...to MAKE MY MARK. How that will be done is up to fate...[/glow]
Togo looks into the camera now.
[glow=red,2,300]...but I invite you all to come and watch.[/glow]
