Glendale, Arizona. Shane and Alex stand outside of the arena. They'd arrived a mere hours ago, to prepare in advance for the showcase. On the ride from Vegas, Jay-J sent them a message to meet him at the arena, as apparently he was already in Glendale. A few minutes later, Mr. Jones makes his appearance.

Ok, I aint gonna beat aroun the bush. We've got a problem. 2 of them. 2 300+lbs problems. Cabal Xavier and Dru Nedermeyer. They've got themselves a 3rd man, and they're more then likely lookin' for another win. Now what they, and none else DON'T know, is that you 2, are the back up I spoke of. You boys wanted to move up the ladder? Well now you have your chance. The Elimination matches are ALL about bragging rights. And with ME in the equation, I doubt they'll get so lucky 2 times ina row.

You don' have to worry about things on our ide. We're ready for ome payback on those 2 ogres. It's like they say, the 3rd time's the charm. They punked u out back stage. The beat us up in the ring, but thi time, we'll be ready. And when we knock them off 1 by 1, i'm gonna enjoy picking that last chump apart.

Since we're on the subject though, what the hell are you getting out of taking us under your wing, anyway?

Well there IS. You 2 are without question to 2 best rookies in the company. You may still be learnin the rope, but you 2 out off ALL the young cats in APW have staying power. Just look at how many have been dropped for not makin' the grade? And look how many even have you kinda recognition ASIDE from all them females. That's what I get outta this. 'Cuz when you 2 DO climb to the top of the mountain, I'll have allies in high AND low places, ya dig? It's like I said in Vega, It' all about strategy. And no one pulls the strings better then Mr. Jones.
