Biography: Not much is known from the man who calls himself Mike Adams, apart from what he usually divulges to the needing public: Born to a Canadian mother and an English father, he holds dual citizenship between the two countries. Occasionally spending time between the two places, Adams came around to appreciate the two different environments he was brought up in. His education mainly came from England, whilst spending time in Canada for school holidays or special events. Due to being such a smart bastard, he is able to pull off an English (which he primarily uses) and a Canadian accent with ease, blending in if a situation should arise...
A surprising fact about Adams is that he was not always like this. During his rookie years of wrestling, Adams was known to be one of the more well-respected newcomers of the business, giving it his all in every match he performed in. However, his time in the promotion REW changed his views completely. It at one point in 2005 he was given a title shot at the REW Heavyweight Title. Most said he wouldn’t do it. Adams proved all his doubters wrong at that night, securing the title for the first time. However, the moment he gained the title, a new ego began brewing. It went unnoticed during the first few weeks, but after every defense it became more evident. Adams had become a disrespectful, arrogant and brash champion, taking down most of his opponents with ease. Even after losing the title, Adams kept his new ego, taking it onto other promotions. Now, it seems that Adams has APW set in his crosshairs, allowing no-one to stop his path of domination…
