After a short promo for the Karma and Effect pay per view, the scene fades up to a video package for the show. The shot immediately goes to Jennifer Drew in her ring gear sitting in front of a fence with the APW Logo suspended from it. Her gaze is distant off to the right of the camera. Maybe she was fixated on something out there, maybe she just didn’t want to face the rest of the world. Eventually she catches a red light on the camera out of the corner of her eye and she begins, softly.
About a month ago I issued a challenge to all the so-called Roses still collecting a check around here to come out and just try and take me down a notch. I called out anyone and everyone. Anyone who wanted to prove they were as good as they say they are, anyone who had a problem with me just anyone, period.
She looks up for a moment, still not focusing on the camera as she sighs and shrugs her shoulders.
And then what do I get? A classic encounter with one of the greatest woman wrestlers in the world? No, I have to deal with Liz Michaels’ fan club. I have to get called out b y some bubbly little brat bouncing around and squeaking at me about how Liz Michaels’ was an honest to goodness queen. Really, a person who has the decency to throw someone like her in front of someone like me and barely give a damn until it’s almost too late is supposed to be a queen? Hope you’re starting to reconsider here Michelle.
Jennifer leans over and looks down for a moment. For a second it seems like something might be wrong, but before anyone gets worried she suddenly raises her head up and appears to be laughing about something.
Or maybe not, because then a funny thing happened. I kept stepping into the ring and I kept getting pinned looking like a joke by getting beat over and over again by some girl who can’t shut up about cookies. Cookies. She kept referring to cookies, she kept calling me some kind of cookie, she even referred to herself as one. It’s a joke. And yet there I was staring up at the lights being called what was it, a stale chocolate chip cookie in the middle of the ring.
Jennifer finally acknowledges the fact that she is on television and stands up and turns to face the camera with the fire back in her eyes.
But you see we’re not going to finish this in a wrestling match, Michelle. We’re done with that for now, I don’t have any excuse. We stepped into the ring twice and you beat me twice I don’t like it but that’s what happened. I know when I'm beat. But that doesn’t mean this is over. That means you just raised the stakes. You see, I can’t go on known you’re somewhere out there laughing and gloating because you beat me down, some has been superstar on her downward spiral getting beat by an up and comer. That’s not the story we’re going to hear Michelle, because we’re not through. It’s not going to be over when you get a three count on me. It’s not going to be over when one of us begs for mercy and says they can’t go on any longer. No, I’m not going to make it that easy for you.
She starts laughing again at some cruel secret joke only she knew about.
You see, there’s one line we haven’t crossed yet Michelle. One place we haven’t gone through all of this, and well I for one think it’s high time. Michelle, this Sunday at Karma and Effect, it’s going to be blood for blood and by the bucket. I’ve been waiting for this for what feels like a really long time and every time I get close someone snatches it away from me, but not this time. England’s Finest isn’t going to be there to save you, and yeah before you say it, Blizzard Kaze isn’t going to be a factor either. It’s just going to be you, me, gallons of the red stuff, and one of my old favorites attempted murder.
Ever since you called me out that day way back when I’ve wanted to make you bleed Michelle, now I just have a reason. The question is do you want it as bad as I do at this point? Do you have it in you? To not just do the job enough to put me down for three seconds but to brutalize and maim me to that point.
You know what, you want to hear the kicker Michelle? I think you do. I think this is how you want to end it too. I think you want my blood. I think that deep down you don’t just want to defend Liz, you don’t want to embarrass me, you just want my blood, for what I said and what I’ve done. At Karma and Effect it’s all yours if you can take it….
With that she turns and walks off as the camera fades to black on the image of her heading down the hallway. She smiled to herself knowing that the message was clear from all of that and that she would get a satisfying end to this whole mess.
