Jennifer made it back to the Tower after the Overdrive taping and she knew she had one thing to do once she got back. Days ago she had said she would go have drinks with Jessie Blair one night and she didn’t intend to back out now.
Despite the fact that she came on a little strong and she knew exactly what Jessie wanted out of all this, being around her actually wasn’t so bad. In fact, once all of the paranoia, awkwardness and general chaos of their first meeting fell away she started to enjoy her time with her former rival. Add to that she hadn’t really done anything like this in a while and it actually sounded like one of those what do you call them Good ideas.
Jessie, Jen. That thing about us hanging out at the Tower View, it’s happening so come on down.
After leaving the message she takes a seat at the bar and waits for Miss Blair to make her entrance.

Jessie just has talked with Nicole over the phone about the condition of Michael Tayler. He was in very bad shape, in such a bad condition that Nicole will stay until Friday before the next Full Throttle by him in the hospital. After they have stopped to talk, Jessie notice that somebody has left a message behind for her. It was Jennifer Drew, she wants to see her. A smile appears on Jessie’s face. She has known that Jen couldn’t resist to meet JB again. With a smile on her face Jessie leaves Nicole’s apartment and take the elevator to the Tower View Restaurant. Wearing fish net tights, Black/red socks, military boots and shorts and a white belly free t-shirt Jessie appears in the restaurant. A quick look around reveals that Jen is sitting at the bar.
Hey, Jen. How is it going?
Jessie sat as she walked over and sat down on the chair next to Jen.

She shrugs as she turns around to look at Jessie.
It’s going, kind of mad about those Heartbreakers, but also kind of apathetic because we still have the titles, it’s weird. Well not really, but you get the idea. So, how are you doing tonight.

Better from second to second, now that I am here….. Hey some scotch please. (shouts to the waiter)…..Well as I said, better then just a few minutes before. Your presence lighten up the whole day, so to speak.
Jessie starts to giggle…
Hihi….well your match was good at the house show..you just had bad luck. That happens from time to time. Happens to the best.

Jen smiles at the last comment.
Oh, that’s sweet that you think I’m the best. Anyhow, I’m moving on from that one, gotta look forward you know that future thing. This didn’t really mean anything. At least I didn’t get as banged up as Tosso.

Shit, I have heard that from Michelle…..girl nearly get speared apart from Ash….*giggles*….well not a surprise at all, Ash can be a beast in the ring. You can consider yourself lucky that she is on your side, …or better said on Kaze side. I mean who has she beat already? Nicole Storm? The Alpha Female of APW…..now that is impressive…
Anyway…I think we are not here to talk about others, right? *grins*

She slams her fist down on the bar as if to agree emphatically.
No, I guess you’re right, forget about everyone else. Let’s keep talking about me.

Ok…that sounds like a plan.
Jessie reach for her glas with scotch and drinks from it, the bottle is of course standing next to the glas.

Sarah made her way into the tower view, fatigued look on her face as she did, a few waives to some of the roster and staff members scattered through the place on her way to the bar area to get herself a drink. She and Lindsay had been training so hard the past few days for their upcoming title shot that she just felt the need to get some downtime today. Even going as far as to cut their training sessions short for the break it seems. She had no idea how she even came out of that fatal four way match earlier for the Overdrive taping but was just glad for it to be over for now. Rest and relaxation was needed in ways unimaginable.
She took her time, taking her seat at the bar smiling brightly to the barkeep as she made herself comfortable. Her appearance was clear evidence that this was just one of those casual moments for her. T-shirt, jeans and sneakers was her attire with her long midnight black hair tied back as she placed her order to the bartender. Nothing heavy, just something to take the edge off so to speak. A long sigh was released from her lips as the barkeep scampered off a few feet to retrieve the ladies order while Sarah lowered her head, supported by one of her arms as her mind began to ponder the tag team title opportunity coming later in the week, unaware that one of her next opponents was present in the establishment as well...

Jen looks down the bar to see Sarah take her place. It was all she could focus on for a moment. With the match days away and after the discussion that she and Blizzard had after the match with the Heartbreakers it seemed like a lucky break. She knew she could use this, but how? She turns her attention back to Jessie for a moment.
Well it did Jess, and I’d love to hear more about how great you think I am, but I think it’s going to have to wait. Check out who just walked in, guess she didn’t notice me or else I bet she’d be over here gloating about something or other. I wonder she’s got hubby in tow or we’re going to get to see Mrs. Cross really cut loose. Either way you want to go pay our respects?

Jessie turns her head to the right side and sees the familiar face of Sarah Andrew Cross. She still knows that girl back from NY, but she never had anything to do with her. Wasn’t she a manager? Turning her head back to Jennifer, JB shrug with her shoulders.
Why do you have problems with Cross’s wife? I mean she is only a manager, not really a big problem at all. Just another pretty face who stand at ringside smiling in the camera and cheering for her husband

She laughs at how far behind Jessie is on things.
Oh, that’s priceless. But no, she isn’t just a manager. Not any more at least. I’m afraid it’s far more insidious than that, Jessie. You see Sarah went and turned into a wrestler since you last saw her, I can’t believe you didn’t know, I mean she has been here forever, seriously just ask her, she'll tell you. And what’s worse, you’re staring at one half of our next title defense. My how far we’ve all come in the last couple months.

Well I don’t work here, so I haven’t paid much attention to the roster. And to be honest I never cared much about blackhaired girls…and that she is married make her even more uninteresting. Anyway, I don’t understand why you see it as a problem that she is here. I am confident that you will be able to beat here.
If you think the opposite then walk over to her and tell her that she should leave the tower through the back exit. Gotta wait then there and take her out.

Sarah's drink had arrived. Her favorite too. "Sex on the beach". She loved this drink and made sure to get one every chance she could on off weeks and other appropriate times. The name alone reminded her of Aruba after all. She took a few sips of the beverage after smiling brightly to the bartender who had seemingly ran off in seconds to take more orders around the bar area. A long sigh ensued from her lips as she leaned against the counter, her head supported by one arm as the other lazily dangled a bit, taking the straw in the glass and stirring it a bit as she makes her best attempt to relax with her thoughts concerning her and Lindsay's upcoming tag team title shot...

Love your training regiment Sarah.
Sarah could hear Kaze before she could turn around and see her. Kaze stares at the stereotypical girl drink with a sour expression which holds as she looks to Sarah's face.
And the hair? To die for.
Kaze looks over her shoulder to see Drewz with ?Jessie? Ooookay, everybody had a weird training regiment it seemed.

Jen was surprised to see Blizzard out that night, but she smiled as she watched her walk over and confront Sarah. She gave a little wave as she looked over her shoulder before she remembered that she was here with Jessie, which must have been very confusing.
Damn, looks like we’re springing into action now, rather than later. I bet I’m going to have a little explaining to do at the gym tomorrow, but what can I say.
She turns over to Jessie before she stands up.
I think we’ve got some kind of plan here to totally demoralize our opponent going into the match this weekend. But do you wanna tag along on this one? You know, observe, comment, analyze. This is probably going to turn into a big tag team deal between the three of us, but it’s cool if you want to come over and throw in snide comments every once in a while… just not about me.
Jen grabs her drink and moves down the bar a few feet to where all the action is about to happen. She ends up a facing Sarah a little behind Blizzard as she attempts to replicate her partner’s expression to the best of her abilities.

Ugh...That voice. On such a beautiful day, it was just her luck that she'd have to deal with this tramp. Albeit while trying to enjoy a little down time from training for the upcoming match. Immediately a smile comes over her face, a farce of course as she turns slightly at a slow pace after placing the drink on the counter in front of her, and in seconds she was face to face with one half of the tag team champions and...What do you know...The other half was here as well. Now this would certainly be interesting to see wouldn't it. Sarah puts on her best valley girl impression welcoming the ladies to the towerview of course, replying to the "compliment" from Blizzard regarding her "training regiment" as well as her "to die for" hair...
"Like...Oh...My...God...I like TOOOOOOOOTALLY can't believe Blizzard Kaze & Jennifer Drew are like...Right in front of me...That's like...Totally gnarly...Bitchin' even..."
Clearing her throat before continuing as her hand reaches for her drink on the counter...Before even taking another sip she replies to the tag team duo with a now more serious demeanor on her face...
"Now...That we've gotten our little girly bravado moment out of the way ladies. What can I do for you two? Looking to get a leg up on the competition and knock me down a peg huh? Well...Let's have it so I can be done with it already."

Jen crosses her arms and scoffs at Sarah’s request.
You’d like that wouldn’t you? Well I would have. I was going to use this rare random encounter with Lady Cross to plant the seeds of doubt in your mind before the big match, but if someone’s going to get all catty about it and say “bring it on” I don’t even know if I want to any more. You know what, why don’t you just go ahead and have your drink in peace like a normal person without us bothering you. We’ll just…
She turns around for a moment waving goodbye over her shoulder before she abruptly turns back around, pointing at Sara with a nod and a big smile as if to say "well played."
HEY, wait just a minute here, you almost got me. Shame on you, Sarah. Preying on my contentious nature like that. What are we going to do with her Blizz?

Jessie walks up behind Jennifer, her bottle with scotch in the hand. Wouldn’t it be a waste to leave it standing alone on the corner? Yes it would.
Wow…
JB sit down next to Sarah.
..Who the hell do we have here. The manager of Jason Cross. Nice to meet ya again girly. You are now a full time wrestler? Wow….that is a surprise. I mean not only that your husband has no talent no….now his wife decided to become a wrestler too. What a fucking waste of time

That's good ol' Jenny for you. Never did have anything to say. Guess things don't change much then huh? Sarah really could care less about their little attempts at mind games so to speak. Hell she grew up in a house with King Vegas for heaven's sake, and they thought THIS was something? Whatev...She nods her head and responds to Jennifer with a slight smile on her face...
"I apologize Jennifer, I truly do. I should have given you the opportunity to demoralize me as much as possible before our coming match up. I know, I know. It totally slipped my mind. You two are the "bad" girls and Lindsay and I are the "good" underdog girls so...I'm sorry, fire away. Whatever you two got go ah..."
But her words were interrupted with the arrival of another person. Someone she didn't notice actually as she turns to face them. Nodding to them with a smile before turning back to Jennifer...Strange to see a man with long blond hair like that though. He must have been a bit...On the "sweet" side eh?
"Oh I'm sorry Jenny. I didn't know your grandfather was in town. Hello I'm Sarah, very nice to meet you sir. And I'm sorry sir, you must have been mistaken. I've never been a manager before. Wrestler from day one actually. I just didn't work for a over hyped roster in New York is all. I was down in Ohio actually before coming here. But it's excused seeing as you're old and senile sir. No biggie."
