.:Damn... now this was where Destiny didn't really know how Sarah was really going to react. Its not like she had a perfect life now...:.

"Well, before I wrestled? I only had one career field that I worked in. But I'm really embarrassed now to say what it was. I just got fed up doing that for a living. It wasn't really bringing enough money... just barely enough for me to get by every month. Not even putting into fact the dangers about that job... And its not like I could just call up a family member and ask for a little money, since when they found out I went in that field they pretty much disowned me..

Then I saw wrestling as a prime opportunity for me to cash in on the talent I have... and it seems to be going pretty good for me so far. Haven't messed up too bad...so...thats basically me in a nutshell "

Sarah smiled slightly before answering back with...

"Ahh okay. Interesting. So...How long exactly were you a stripper Destiny?"

I mean really...What other occupation could garner such treatment from your family?...Besides prostitution of course, and Sarah prayed that was NOT the case here.

.:Damn... Sarah was too smart... No matter how Destiny tried to avoid the truth Sarah was always right there to ask her another question...:.

"How long? Must have been three years..."

.:Awkward silence again? Oh yes...:.

"Oh...Okay..."

Yes indeed an awkward silence came over the scene...Sarah's vision swaying a bit away from Destiny to across the Tower View establishment noticing a few more people entering. When turning back to face Destiny once again a smile is on her face. Clearly forced that is...

"Well then!....Umm...Alrighty...How did you...I mean...Stripping to wrestling isn't exactly...A common...Order of things...In this business I guess I'm...Trying to say...Umm...But I guess the important thing is...Now you're doing what you're good at...I mean!...Not to say you weren't good at stripping too I mean...Wait no...Not saying you're a...You know? Ugh...I'm messing up big time here aren't I?"

"Not really... I know, that little bit of knowledge might make this conversation a little more awkward for you... and, it was a weird career move, but it was for the better..."

.:Her left hand runs through her hair as she looks at Sarah. This was probably THE most awkward conversation she had ever had.:.

"How about we get to a topic where both of us feel comfortable?"

"Tee Hee...At this point Destiny what would that be exactly?..."

Sarah covers her mouth slightly, trying to muffle the sounds of her laughter, noticing that Destiny was getting a kick out of it as well.

"*sigh*, I really have no clue Sarah... I was kind of hoping you had an Idea...."

.:It was pretty funny... well not really. Destiny wanted to kind of get to know Sarah... but really had no clue on what to ask that would not make either of them uncomfortable...:.

"So....how many friends do you have around APW?"

Sarah smiled towards Destiny. She seemed to be trying really hard to mend past actions of hers and just be normal it seemed. She couldn't believe she actually believed it to be true but...She really did believe it from what she had seen today.

"It's okay Destiny. Calm down. I can see the tension in you girl. I'm...I'm fine with you sitting here with me now...I think...You actually ARE trying to change and, as much as I hated the things that happened in the past...I can forgive just like anyone else. So no need to be so tense alright? Tee Hee...I'm not gonna bite your head off or anything. Just relax. So..."

She reaches for her glass once again lifting it towards her lips as she cuts her eyes to Destiny's place of position before commenting...

"So...When you expecting him to pop the question or are you going to ask him?"

.:Destiny just looked at Sarah... a blank look on her face. Did she really just ask that question? Destiny had never thought about it really. It just wasn't something that was urgent to her. Not that she wanted to take it slow.. being as how they've shagged... MANY times.... but, she just had a feeling Marriage just wasn't something that was on Cross's mind..:.

"Uh... I'm not going to ask... and, when he does it... well, he does it. I'm not really awaiting that day. It'll come hopefully. I wont push him, just give him time to decide when he wants to do it.."

"Smart girl. Especially when dealing with him of all people. But hey ya' never know. Marriage is a beautiful thing. I can't even fathom not being married to Jason now. And it hasn't even been a year yet ya' know. Sure there are things that could possibly make it difficult sometimes but...I think it's worth it. Oh and kids. I think every woman wants to have children one day. God I want to have a house full of em' myself...Tee Hee..."

.:Yet another thing Destiny has no intention of right now. Children. At this moment in time, she thought she'd be a horrible mother. She's just not mentally ready for it.:.

"Well, thats good Sarah. But I'm not sure myself. I'd want them sometime I think. But I'm just not sure... I guess it is a womans instinct is to have children right? I guess I just haven't reached that point in time where I'm thinking about stuff like that... just living in the present, making up for the past... I have enough on my plate with that..."

"Well...To each his own I guess."

Sarah could tell that Destiny's focus was heavily on trying to change her "image" around APW and not anything in the distant or near future too much.

"Well then...Can't talk about that either sooooo...Meh...You'll get that way before long I'm sure. Without kids and family there really aren't that many things to even care about in the world. Speaking of family...What's up with yours Destiny? I mean, how were things on your end growing up?"

"Besides me being an accident and both of my parents hating me? It was a pretty normal childhood you could say... and as I stated earlier... my family pretty much disowned me, the only one that will even talk to me is my younger brother. But I think he just does it to spite my parents.... he was always like that"

.:Yea.... Destiny doesn't really like her family all to much, and it was pretty much both ways too. Another conversation downer it was...:.

"How about yours?"

"Whoa. That's...Deep Dez I...Couldn't imagine going through something like that with my family. We were at least remotely close growing up so...Things may have seemed bad along the way but usually they worked out in the end ya' know. But...I'm sure deep down...You know your family loves as much as you probably love them. But I don't wanna get too deep into your personal matters or that subject matter so..."

"My family? Ha, I hate them just about as much as they hate me... so ask away . I personally think they shouldn't have been that quick to judge my career choice... but families just always think the most of their oldest off-spring ya know?"

[Sarah Andrews-Cross]

"Umm...Okay? Well...Why is it that you all hate each other exactly? I mean it can't be all about the career choice. People usually get over things like that eventually. There has to be something bigger or more serious there for "hate" to be involved. Know what I mean?"

"Well Sarah to this date, I'm still curious as to WHY they hated me so much. No matter what I did it was either WRONG or not good enough for them. If I got A's, they weren't happy enough they would want A+'s... No matter what friends I made they were trouble makers and bad influences... any boyfriend I had, he was up to no good just wanted to get in my pants... *sigh* Just stuff normal parents would do, but times it ten fold "

"Oh...Well ALL parents are like that though I think. At least a little bit anyway. Maybe they just wanted better for you or...Hard to say really. Everything sure wasn't perfect with my family either with the..."Business" my father and uncles are in and always have been in. It caused a few problems along the way but luckily we were able to at least remain civil between one another. I just refuse to believe there's "hate" when pertaining to family though. I'm almost positive it's something else but...I'm not Dr. Phil or anything so..."

"Trust me Sarah...you don't know them like I do. Well, you don't know them at all but you get the idea "

"Sooooo... got anything else to talk about?"

Sarah was really tapped for topics of discussion at this point. Partly because it was an awkward gathering and secondly because so much...Personal stuff had come up and gone in such a short amount of time that it just seemed strange to talk about anything at this point. She thought to herself that maybe they had pushed the boundaries enough and should call it a day as far as discussion goes...

"Well not really Destiny. It's amazing we talked this much I think. Don't know if we should push it any further...Ya' know? "
