.-:After the little get together with Jason and Sarah... Rebecca stood behind the curtain. She was nervous. So nervous. She was shaking. Normally Melissa would be here to comfort her and tell her she will do fine. But, she was back in Virginia...Rebecca HAD to do this on her own. She hopped once or twice to try and get the nervousness out... it didn't work to well.
Thats when outside the curtain, the lights started to flash. She knew it was coming. Then the opening notes of Break The Line by Guano Apes blares over the PA. It was time.
Rebecca took a step out onto the stage, taking in all of it. The Cheers, the boos. This wasn't even close to her first time doing this, but every time was a new experience. You had no clue how the crowd would react... Different people EVERY time you stepped out through the curtain.
Rebecca took a few steps forward... now on the center of the stage. She outstretches her arms as a pyramid of Sparks comes up behind her. She hoped Melissa was watching. She tilted her head up, listening to her theme song through the crowd.
The sparks came to an end as Rebecca put her arms down. She waited on the stage, no movement. She then started walking down to the ring. Every step making her more nervous. She reached ring side faster then she had expected. She then walked over to the steel steps and made her way up to the apron. She swung one leg into the ring, bent over and brought her other leg through. She stood in the middle of the ring, center of attention.
She soaked in the vibe from the crowd for a few more seconds. She then moved her legs and walked over to the opposite side of the ring. She took a microphone from a stagehand which was holding one up for her. She walked back to the center of the ring and froze.
She just looked out into the crowd. Not bringing the microphone up to her mouth right away. Mel.... she pictured Melissa sitting right in the front row. Even though Mel was far...far away. It gave Rebecca the courage to start. She brought the mic up to her mouth and spoke:-.
"Whats UP AYE PEE DUB?"
.-:The crowd erupts. It was cheesy, yes. But it was the only thing Rebecca could think of to start with..:-.
"Well, it seems like I lost my last match.... big surprise huh?"
.-:Boos... they wanted her to win. She was liked. But, seemed like she was a loss collecting machine...:-.
"But not to fret. I am out here... to challenge a special some one.
See, I happened to beat this woman in an ultimate submission match. But... I found out something.. She can't put on a submission if her life depended on it..
That made me realize how UNFAIR that match was. Me being the submission expert I am... against her.."
.-:The crowd cheers that Rebecca was telling the truth..:-.
"But this time... It will be her match choice... and for HER TITLE...
So, Michelle... would you please come out here?"
