New in Town

[Jagerllama]

Kevin Daniels is seen walking into the Tower View Restaurant, feeling hungry from is long trip from Ohio. He takes a seat at an empty table, as waitress hands him a menu.

"I'll just take a cheeseburger and fries. And a Bud, thanks."

"No problem, coming right up' says the waitress, as she heads to the kitchen area.

As he waits for his food, KD ponders what will happen in this place. He missed his wife he left in Ohio, to tie up the loose ends before arriving here with him, but that didn't make missing her any easier. He also wonders will he be good enough with the limited training he has from his friend in down there. He sure was big enough to take advantage, but he knew deep down, it would take more than just size to be successful here. Also, would she be safe here as well? It seemed like a good place, so far. In studying this place for weeks before 'officially' signing up, he knew many of the names already, although, not personally. But, that would soon change.

Lost in thought and looking out the window, KD feels a tap on his shoulder....

He turned around to see....

Lillian Pope. Standing behind him a smile on her face. Her dark flowing hair dancing around her shoulders.

Is this seat taken?

KD thought it would be good to have someone to talk to, keep his mind off other things at the moment. A little company might be nice.

"It is now.... have a seat young lady. I'm Kevin Daniels. I'm new around here. Just got in from Ohio today. Who might you be?"

[moduke]

Lillian Pope, I'm pretty new here myself. Got a contract signed a while back, but had to deal with some personal family issues.

She takes the seat letting her slender frame drop into place. The smile remained on her face as an idle hand brushed the dark strands of perfect from her eyes.

So Ohio huh? Quite the trip from Ohio to Toronto isn't it?

[Jagerllama]

"It sure is. I haven't been signed just yet, but I will get to a meeting with the CEO after I get a bite to eat here. The long trip sure has wore me out abit."

KD sits looking at the woman, thinking to himself about how to keep this conversation going....

"So tell me what you have learned so far here, if you would. This place seems alot different from where I have been training, but there is a certain likeness as that place too. I've done quite abit of study on this place, but coming from someone that has been here, even for a short time, could shed some insight studying can't tell you...."

[moduke]

Lily squished her face with her lips as she tought.

Hmmm, well its pretty small right now. But it seems people are starting to realize this place didn't go under after the Angels high tailed it out of town. So the place is growing. I honestly don't know much, I've only been in IN Toronto for like four days maybe?

[Jagerllama]

So you are very new then... like me. Have you had a match yet? Perhaps when my wife arrives later in the week, you two could meet. Maybe make a friendship out of this here.

I'm really worried about her time here. I'm pretty protective of her. She is tying up loose ends down in Ohio, and wanted me to check out the place before she got here. Kind of set everything up here, as she is finishing everything up there. She will be here within the week, perhaps you two can meet, and set up a friendly welcome match or something?

[Jagerllama]

As he finishes his words, his cell phone rings. He takes it out of his pocket, and answers...

"Yeah..."

"You are here already? Downstairs? I thought it would be later on in the week. You decided to surprise me... isn't that sweet. I'm upstairs in the restaurant, still waiting on my cheeseburger to be ready, and talking to a new friend I've met. But, I'll have that burger boxed up and set to the room. I'll be down in a second. Laterz..."

KD puts his cell phone back in his pocket. and says to Lillian...

"Sorry to cut this short, but my wife is downstairs. She has arrived earlier than I thought. I need to go get her, and talk to Ms. Corban. It was very nice meeting you. I'll catch you around hopefully."

With that said, KD gets up from the table, and heads to the front counter, to send his meal to his room. And then heads out the door, to meet his wife downstairs.
