The scene opens with Scarlett sitting in the middle of the ring in fancy restaurant chair. She's dressed in a fashion to make one think she was waiting for her date to arrive, she even had the hair to make one assume she spent hours on it, getting it absolutely perfect. Her hands on her lap, as her Rose title was laid openly on a nearby table, overshadowed by a small vase full of the world's most perfectly imagined roses. A small group of violinists even accompanied her as she sat smiling, gazing around a curious crowd. Just as she promised Jennifer, a date was set, and she was just waiting for her to arrive, a mic placed pleasantly between both her hands, as she waited, watched, and waited some more.
Closing her eyes for a complete moment before checking her watch, and shaking her head, she stood up from her seat, a look of disappointment on her face. Had she been stood up? No, no, that couldn't be. Jennifer isn't the type to forget a date, at least, it didn't seem like it. "Well," she begins, bringing the mic up to her deep maroon lips, "I'm sorry to disappoint all of you, but it looks like Jennifer forgot, really, really disappointing, and spent all morning getting ready, gee."

Well she did go to all the trouble...
Jennifer comes out to “Stickin in my Eye” looking really excited and beaming a big smile to everyone in the arena. In fact everything on her face said overly extravagant first date. Of course everything below her neck said she just found out about this and stepped out in her gear. She made her way down and took the other seat as she looked around at the spread. She's going a long way for this one. She lifts the microphone she brought with her.
Oh
My
God
It's like exactly how I pictured it. I've been wanting to do this for weeks. Two to be exact, don't know where that number came from but anyway. I've been waiting for this and now that it's here it's just so...
Magical.
Better look out I think I'm swooning. I can't believe you'd go through all this trouble for little old me, especially with what's coming later tonight.
She said looking at the "centerpiece".
Now I know how this must look but don't worry I just decided to show up late and underdressed because that's the kind of person I am. Hope you aren't going to try to change me if this gets serious. Now are you going to offer me a glass of wine, or some bread or maybe tip the band a little maybe have them play us something nice?.

Although Scarlett was a tad disappointed at Jennifer's attire, she kept a sly smile on her face, it was Jennifer after all, she didn't quite know what she was expecting to begin with. "Oh yes, of course, as your hostess, I always come prepared." She walked over to Jennifer's seat, and pulled it out for her to sit in. Once she took her seat, she daintily walked over to the opposite end of the ring, a member of the ringside staff handing her two glasses, and a bottle of wine, another coming into the ring, and placing a loaf of sliced bread on the table. Upon placing the glasses on a table, and pouring some wine for Jennifer, she walked over to the band, and put a wad of money into the leader's pocket, rather seductively. Immediately, the band started playing a romantic tune, much to Scarlett's pleasure. "How's that, Love?" she asks, taking a seat herself.

Jennifer dutifully took her seat and started sipping at her wine and breaking off little pieces of bread. She'd have to get on Scarlett's bad side more often if it meant treatment like this. This woman was going a really long way to get her and she was enjoying every minute of the ride.
Alright, I'm not going to lie this is actually pretty great.
She does her best wine connoisseur impression as she takes another sip.
You've got to tell me what year this is when we get done. If you're taking requests are you going to get me some dinner, or ask me to dance, or maybehandoverthetitletome, or maybe we could just lower the lights and let the candles do the work.
She grins and goes back to enjoying her pre-match appetizers.

"Don't mind the year hun, as long as it tastes simply splendid, why worry over such petty facts?" Scarlett watched Jennifer intently before taking her own sip of the wine. She seemed to be enjoying herself, which should be the goal for any type of date. "We'll get to our dance later tonight, for now...let's not worry about such grievances; instead, let's get know each other better. A first date isn't a first date if we haven't a clue what kind of people we are at the end of the night." Scarlett then snaps her fingers, and the lights dim in the arena, allowing the candle light to take over the pair.

She just kept going on the wine. Must be safe, she's drinking it, right? She leans back maybe a little too relaxed in her surroundings.
Alright, I'll bite. I have to say I'm actually a little charmed right no. I don't know how I'll ever do it but I'm going to forget about business while we're enjoying ourselves out here. So I've got to know, where'd all this come from? How'd you do it? Have you been reading my super secret private diary.... or my thoughts?

"I just suppose we're more alike then we'd like to assume, Love." Scarlett responds, taking another sip of her wine. "This is merely an object of my own imagination, an exact representation of how I would love to be treated, and it's gratifying to know that you're the same." She gives Jennifer a sly smile, "Perhaps we're more perfect for each other than I originally thought. More wine?"

Do you even have to ask?
She held out her hand and accepted the top-off.
I'm going to be nice and loose later on, that'll be good. Anyway, I wish half the people I've faced over the years had this much style. You might be alright, although I'm still waiting for the restraints to come out of this chair and strap me in. I didn't just expose your sinister plan did I?
She backpedals.
Not that I'm saying there is one. Seriously. Don't take all these nice things away.

"No offense taken hun," she replies, giving herself more wine as well, taking a sip afterward, "Sadly, I'm afraid I'm not as tech-savy as the young 'uns are these days. Otherwise, I'm sure we'd be in a more...exciting situation.. Besides, I really don't have any intention to do anything radical at the moment. I just want to get to know my friend better, our first meeting wasn't exactly...truthful to say the least." She gives a smile to Jennifer as she grabs herself a slide of bread, and begins to eat it in a pieces.

The first meeting, that whole thing was a sham now that she remembered it. She keeps at the wine as she asks the one question she'd been dying to know the answer to since it happened.
Alright. So, is there a real old homestead? Cows? Chickens? Pigs? Chuck? Down home wholesomeness? Or were you just playing a cruel joke on a dumb elitist city girl?

"Give or take," she responds, shrugging, a glass of wine in her hand, "Chuck was an old flame in high school. Parents run their own little diary form in Smalltown, USA, basically shaping truths into a false little advert to sell myself to you; the usual manipulation." She smiled, the truth always felt good, and it always cleaned the air, "I hope you don't hate me Love, I did plan this all out, just for you after all."

That was pretty satisfying. She thought about the question for a second.
Hate? Nah. Half the people I've faced over the years would've probably tried to beat me to death by now without even offering me so much as a cheap beer. This I could get used to. And I can't believe I'm about to say this but you're actually being pretty cool, making me feel all special and everything.

"Well, anything to soften your loss tonight, Darling." Scarlett says sly, a smile creeping onto her face, "I just don't want any hard feelings after our IronRose match tonight, for I just enjoy this little relationship we have. 'Scarlifer' is simply...perfect." Taking another sip in her wine, she gives a seductive look towards Jennifer, "Our dance tonight will be our confession of our love, that I'm sure our fans will enjoy."

Kinda snuck that in there didn't you?
She chuckles a bit now that all the details had been laid out.
Well I'm with you most of the way. Iron Rose sounds great to me. Won't leave any questions when things are over and done with. Perfect way to cap off th evening don't you think? I just hope we can still be friends when the time's up and I've got more points on the board. I don't want a stupid thing like that to screw this up.

"Oh, don't worry about, don't worry about it. After tonight, I'm sure we'll be the best of friends, no doubt about it. Besides, who said that our date was over after our little dance together?" She sneaks a sly smile towards Jennifer, "This is merely part one Darling, part two is our little tango, and part three...well, I'll let you use your imagination. Of course, the third part is completely optional, but I'm sure you've been rather...lonely without this next to your bed every night." She points at the title while taking another sip of wine.

Damn. To say Jennifer didn't see that coming would be an understatement. She takes another drink and returns the knowing little smile.
Wow, I knew there was something I liked about you, and well let's just say I'm thinking about it. And well it all depends on what kind of mood I'm in afterward. If things go right I think I might get all ramped up. So I guess we'll just have to see where the evening takes us, won't we?

"Meh..." Scarlett says sarcastically as she gives Jennifer yet another smile, "Moods are moods I suppose, I know I have my episodes from time to time. Nevertheless, if you happen to have a 'headache' tonight, I'll fully understand, we'll just have to see what happens next time we see each other, when our situations aren't as...well, what's the word...on display."

Sounds like a real blast. I just might have to do that sometime minus the screaming crowd and the string section.
She looks over and sees a few disappointed faces in the band.
Sorry guys.
But, even though I'm starting to get a little tipsy and I've got all that in the back of my mind I'm not going to forget about leg 2 here. So, thanks for the royal treatment it was a nice little surprise, but I've got a big match to win here tonight. Catch you later.
She downs her last glass of wine and starts her walk backstage. As she climbs out of the ropes she turns back to exchange that little smile with the champion one more time before turning her back and heading up the ramp through the curtains.

"You're welcome Love, but please do you watch your step, I would hate for something to happen to you before we even get a chance to prance about this ring." Scarlett responds to Jennifer's leaving as she relaxed herself in her seat, allowing her hair to flow freely on its own, an evil snicker growing on her face as the scene faded.
