I sat in the General Manager office inside of the Key Arena. The past few days had been a good one in terms of the roster growing at the pace we had hoped for. With the unfortunate closing down of the company that most likely would have been our biggest competition, we had secured a few contracts before the vultures had closed in on them. BIG names indeed.
The last few people signed to the roster were big names among the wrestling world and we were more than sure that they would help to propel APW into one of the top 3 spots as far as wrestling promotions went in the entire world. As I sat there I knew that sooner or later my associate who had agreed to be of assistance in this grueling process would be in contact once he caught wind of the recent happenings. And just as sure the phone on my desk rang. I pick up the call.
Hello?

"Hello Mr. Hugh. I hope I'm not disturbing you today? I just wanted to check in with you on how the process was coming along. I see the Angel's have been busy girls over the course of the past few weeks."

Yes they have been. But you have to agree that with the recent signings to the roster, APW is fast becoming a power player as you like to put it. Our talent has almost doubled itself with the signing of LXW's former CEO alone. While I don't agree with his pension for destroying any and everything in his path, I have to admit that the man has drawing power. He always has and always will. Same can be said for the man we signed just a little under a week ago from the fallout in New York.

"Yes I've kept an eye on the signings as well Mr. Hugh. I must say that you and the sisters are doing quite well for yourselves right now and that every promotion in existence should stand up and take notice of how you're doing it.
I have also seen a few headlines coming across the Hot Pages as of late as well. Miss Fierheart was indeed a huge pick up for the fledgling women's division Mr. Hugh. I also hear word of another young woman possibly making an appearance as well.
I'm sure you know who I am talking about Richard. If she does in fact show her face in the coming months, APW will have successfully completed the building of perhaps the only legitimate women's division on the face of the planet."

Well I sure hope so sir. That's exactly what we're attempting to do here at APW. For the longest time, female competitors have been overshadowed and overlooked even though they've been allowed to compete with their male counterparts. Here in APW, we welcome co-ed competition but also understand the need for the female competitors out there to have their own separate legacy to leave behind so to speak.

"I wholeheartedly agree Mr. Hugh. APW has made great strides to attempt to give the women of this industry a voice of their own. With the ladies currently on the roster at this time, I see no reason why that legacy won't be fully fulfilled rather easily."

Yes I feel the same way sir. But I do feel that there's a lot more that we here at APW need to work on. Too many things to go into right now actually. But I'm sure we'll have all the time in the world come Battlezone to speak more about this.

"Oh I'm more than sure we will Richard. More than sure. But I see that you have some work to do. I understand Richard. I do sir. But just remember though. Once we begin to implement these plans of ours into APW as a whole, the company will take off so well that everyone's workload may be doubled. But so will the rewards we all reap as well. Keep that in mind for our meeting scheduled for next week Mr. Hugh. We'll see you at Battlezone sir."

Goodbye sir. I look forward to it.
I hang up the phone as the conversation ends finally. I begin to get a bit anxious at the thought of our meeting coming up next week at the first APW Pay Per View event and I smile as I think that we are so close to making APW what old friend Charles envisioned it to be.
