The news of his brother from another mother had hit home pretty hard. Jay was unaware of any problems that he could have had. He didn't know what to think about the situation. It definitely was going to be a huge loss for Los Angeles. It was a huge loss to the family. America's Most Wanted, The Familia, and those back in Compton. Wrestling world had to be hurting losing such an important figure in the industry. Jay loved that man like family. That man was like a brother to him. Fuck it. That man was his brother. Things were going to be different without the man. He knew that was for sure. Gah... He needed a damn drink. Which is where we find our Messiah right now. Stepping through the entrance of the Tower View Restaurant and Lounge. Where was he heading? The bar, of course. He needed a drink, and he wasn't talking about water. Alcohol would do just fine. Thank you very much. Stepping through the entrance, Jay came inside the Tower View. Dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt with the same tribute to Tha Infamous 187 plastered across it. A plain white t-shirt could be seen underneath it. Navy blue colored, double kneed Dickies pants from the waist down to his black and white All Star Converse sneakers on his feet. Blue tinted shades rested on his face with a gold chain hanging around his neck. He found his way to the bar. Taking himself a seat on an empty stool. He threw his hands up in the air as he looked over at the bartender behind the bar.
"Whattup ma'?"
...He said to her as they made eye contact. Causing the bartender to smile and her cheeks to redden with blush. As the bartender approached Jay, he lowered his arms down onto the bar. A smile gracing his face as well.
Bartender: "What can I get for you tonight Mr. Crack?"
"Ohhhh... I think I'll be having myself a glass and a bottle of Hennessey."
Bartender: "Alright."
.... Ah, yes. The Hennessey. This was going to bring back some good memories of his fallen brother. The same person who introduced him to this drink when they were in there younger days. Got him hooked on it too. Simply loved himself a nice bottle of Hennessey. It didn't take long for the bartender to go and retrieve an ice filled glass and a new bottle just for him. He gave the bartender a nod and thanked her...
"Gracias."
Bartender: "You're welcome Mr. Crack."
With that said, the bartender went off to tend to the rest who happened to be at the bar. Leaving Jay to proceed with the opening of his bottle and pouring himself some of that good ol' Hennessey.

....And Jay would continue to go on to open that bottle of Hennessey. Taking the bottle in hand, tipping it into the glass before him and filling it up to the rim of it. Once the glass was full, he set the bottle down to the side of him on the bar. Then he took a hold of the glass infront of him... Lifting the glass to his lips, he took a sip from it. Closing his eyes as he takes a sip. Afterwards, he set the glass down on the bar and opened his eyes. Nodding his head as he finished. Swallowing down that good, good alcohol. Man, that hit the spot. It really did. Saying to himself...
"That's the good shit right there...."

Lauren walked into the bar, her ribs strapped up but now it was a lot easier to walk than that night on Full Throttle Media's chokeslam the final toll on her body before it gave out on her. Making it half way up the ramp showed her stubbornness but thankfully she saw sense not to push the EMT's away and she got the medical treatment she needed. Lauren walked up to the bar slowly taking care not to aggravate her injured ribs any more, she looked around the place was fairly busy but nobody ever goes for a quiet drink these days. Lauren sees Jay Crack she recognizes him but she can't remember his name, a mistake due to her self-importence ego trip when she first arrived here up until the beating she took from Scarlett at Climbing Olympus. Lauren decides that he was probably the best person to sit next to, and she does just that only asking after taking the seat
"Hi! Mind if I join you"
Lauren clutched her ribs as sitting down hurt a little, but some alcahol in her blood would ease that. She signalled for the bartender to come over, with Lauren being a pretty face naturally he rushed to serve her
"What can I get ya ma'am"
Wow never been called ma'am before
"Just a glass of Hennessey please!"
Lauren turns to crack and smiles still clutching her ribs with one hand

Jay simply nodded his head as this woman asked if she could join him at the bar. Not noticing just yet that the girl happened to be in a bit of pain.
"Sure. Go ahead and pull up a seat."
Jay didn't mind company. He'd rather have company than to sit in the bar and drink by himself. Nobody wants to drink by themselves. Well, Jay didn't want to anyways. He's more social than that. He would rather have had some company here with him at the bar. Getting drunk wasn't fun when you're the only one having a drink. Noticing the drink that the woman was getting, he nodded his head. That smirk on his face growing. Another Henny drinker. That was good.
"Hennessey, eh? Good choice. Good choice. Hahahaha..."
He lifted his own glass up to his lips and took a sip from it.

Lauren smiled as Jay approved of her choice of drink, she liked to try different things but something familiar served the purpose of numbing pain better, and Hennessey was the best for that and the taste wasn't bad either. She turned to him clutching again at her ribs
"Ow! Thank you, nothing better to ease pain in my view!"
As she grimised Lauren took a sip of her drink, still holding her strapped ribs

"Hmm? Ow?"
...He says before turning over to look at her. He looked at the woman and noticed her hand being placed on her ribs. Then it hit him. Nothing better to ease the pain? Now he understood it. It wasn't a mental pain or anything like that. It was an actual, physical hurting in her body that she needed the alcohol for. He pointed down at where her hand was and asked...
"If you don't mind my asking but uhh.... What happened to ya? Got a little too rough in the ring or something?"
He asked as he lifted the glass up to his lips again. Taking another drink from his glass.

Lauren smiled as things getting tough in the ring was a bit of an understatement, being manhandled in her last two matches had taken the toll on her
"Yeah, first being Scarlett's punching bag and then being slam dunked by Media was a little rough, but I should have defended myself more. So it's my own fault! Although I vaguely remember falling down outside SINsation after I got really... really... really drunk, and I was already hurting going into that match, Scarlett can hit pretty hard but I am not sure if she could have damaged me like this"
Lauren took another sip of her drink, was strange as most just gulped it but Lauren savored the taste

"I don't believe me and Scarlett have ever got it on in the ring or have met outside. I take it she's pretty strong, from what you're telling me. However, I have faced that fool Media a couple of times. That dude is on something. I tell ya. No normal human being should be that damn big. I don't know what it is. It could be the 'juice' or something. I don't know. Don't think someone like that should be that big and it's not natural in my opinion."
Yeah. He remembered that guy Media. Faced him a few times himself. Once in a match involving him and Skullinator. Pulled a quick win over him. Another win over him during the tag team matches. An unfortunate loss in singles competition against the man named Media. Oh well. It's old news. 2 -1 was a good record over em. He continued...
"Hopefully you start healing up pretty soon. It's always a pain in the ass to be... Well... In pain. Hahahaha... I know that feeling. Pulling double... triple... quadruple duty is always never the healthiest choice to take but someone's gotta do it. Ya know? Hope you start feeling better.... Umm... What was it again?"

Lauren had seen guys juicing in her youth, something about Media and that didn't seem to fit, wrestlers were sloppy and left needle marks, though one of Media's arms was covered up. Juicing or not Lauren had lost because of herself, and a foolish plan to let Scarlett beat her up a bit trouble is she didn't need to and when she realized that she needed to fight back it was too late
I am such a fool
"Double duty, allowing Scarlett to beat me up when she was strong enough to beat me anyway, I guess the final toll on them was that chokeslam 140 pounds being driven down by a 300 plus pounder was never going to end nicely. I have been running myself ragged here and my stupid arrogance has got me into this mess, I know I'll heal up but to avoid it happening again I need a change in attitude. Since I don't have a partner that wants me around at the moment I might as well fly solo, once these are healed I'll start training... You're one of the tag champs right... I think that it's a good thing my partner doesn't want me around else I'd have you beating on me!"
Lauren laughed and it hurt her ribs so it soon became a grimace
"Ouch, sorry walking wounded isn't always the best company. So you have 2 over Media's 1 nice... What's the deal with you and your cute partner just professional? Sorry if I am being nosey..."

What would he consider him and Nattie? Oh boy. He'd love nothing more than to push things to the next level and get more deep than what they are. But... nothing official has happened. Nothing to make it official has been done... just yet.
"Heh, heh... At the moment? From my standpoint, it appears to be strictly professional between myself and Nattie. Atleast, that's the way I'm looking at it. From time to time, she'll give me little signs here and there. Chilling under my arm. Kiss on the cheek. Hugs. Winks. You know... All the signs of that you would think right off the top of your head that she was coming onto you... But I never know if it's really real or not. I've taken a liking to her. I have. But I don't know where she stands on it. She could look at me as a potential boyfriend... Or she could look at me as a potential big brother type of figure. You know? It's hard to tell with her. "
He shrugged his shoulders. A brief shake of the head.
"It's started off as her looking for someone to give her a little help in the ring. Some training. Cause she had hit a rough spot in her career and things tended to get a little rocky for her. She came to me looking for a mentor, a friend, someone who would take her under their wing. And I have. And I must say, she has improved quite a lot in recent weeks. I'm impressed. As far as I know though, things are professional at the moment."

"I wasn't sure, a cute guy, a pretty girl you kind of think about these things, well we can give off the wrong signals I am guilty of that myself, though it's not just a girl thing, guys give mixed signals too, my ex husband acted rather strange when he first met me, saved me from a bullying boyfriend and then he just said he would have done it for anyone, funny Logan never did do it for anyone else. Maybe you should maybe test the water as it were, find somebody who talks to Nattie and see if you can get insider information, then you'll know either way or there is the unadvisable make her jealous approach"
Lauren smiles as she takes a drink and now her glass is empty and she goes to signal the bar man raising her arm hurting her ribs, and she again grimaces and clutches her ribs
"Ouch, I gotta stop doing that!"

"Take it easy. You're not going to get any better if you keep doing that."
He shook his finger at her. Laughing slightly. Not at her pain, but at her not learning her lesson everytime she does it.
"I could try either of those ways to find out what the deal is. But then there lies my dilemma... Out of all the females that I end up meeting... We have on one end of the spectrum... Those lured in by the power and fame and wealth that I've accumulated over the years... Gold diggers and those looking to be another one night stand. And that's not going to help because they're not looking to let me fall into the arms of another. You know? Then we travel to the other side of the spectrum... Those who have a certain fear of me. Which, I don't understand. I find myself to be a nice guy. I don't see too much of me to be deemed threatening. You know? I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the company I keep or the reputation I have. Everytime I meet a female, they're either looking to be mine or they tend to stray away from me. Don't really have one that I could depend on to be a friend who could help me in times of need."
Shaking his head, he just shrugged his shoulders. Lifting that glass up to his lips, he took another sip of that Hennessey.

Another nice guy filled with doubts? Nah he seems confident to me, he is hard to read though
From what you have said Nattie doesn't sound like a gold digger to me, if she were you would have sampled the fruits shall we say already... I am sure you know the signs of a gold digger... As for sticking around in times of need I can't really comment on Nattie or the subject either a long story
Lauren looked for the bartender and he was still at the other end of the bar, she was about to shout him but instead
"Would you mind signalling him for me please!"

"Yeah. That's true. If Nattie was anything like the previous women I've mentioned.... I don't think I'd be too attracted to her as much as I am. I know it might seem that just because I'm a dude that I wouldn't mind having one night stands and all that, but that's far from the truth. There's only so many of those I can go through without growing tired of the same old routine. And I'd rather not deal with someone who's interested in my wallet and not interested in yours truly. I'll need to figure something out to decide what's really going on here."
Nodding his head, he lifted his glass to his lips and took another drink from it. After setting it down on the bar, he began to nod his head after she asked him to get the bartender for her.
"Oh, sure. Hahahaha..."
He looked down the bar where the bartender stood and waved her over. While at the same time saying...
"Hey barkeep. Let's get another one for the lady. Yeah?"
The bartender looked over with a smile at Jay and the woman he was with. And she would come to tend to the woman's need.
Bartender: "Sure."
As the bartender was coming, something finally came to Jay's mind. Looking over at her, he snapped his fingers and pointed at her.
"Oh! Hey! I've got an idea. Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. Would you mind talking with her? Like, don't make it sound like it's really me who's asking about. But make it sound like your own personal interests. You might see her around more than I do. Since you know... I can't necessarily come waltzing into the women's locker room. Hahaha.. Even though I'd like to... But... Hahahaha... Anyways... What do ya say?"

Lauren smiled, and she nodded. It was something she could do, all that remained was a plan of how to do it
"I'll bet you'd like to waltz in there, but sure I could try and find out for you. Though I have never played cupid before, but your a nice guy and she seems like a nice girl. I just need to think of a way to do it and how to start talking about you, maybe try and ask her the same question out right?"

"Thanks. I'd really appreciate if you did so. And if you ever need a favor from me? I ain't too hard to find. If you have something you'd like done, feel free to ask. I'd be willing to help you out all the same. I'd say you could approach her like you did with me. Go on and ask some questions. Girl talk and all that jazz. Find her before the match as you two are getting ready if you happen to find yourself in the locker room before the show. Act all casual about it. And fire em away."
He shrugged his shoulders. He didn't know how women talked to each other. That's how he would do it, but then again... That's him.

"It isn't that simple it's not like women don't talk like that, we do but we word questions differently. I go in and look like a school girl asking her out for you are saying you really like her she might respond badly... So I don't want to mess up your chances, also not saying she is like this but what if I play the I'm into you and want to find out if she is, she might not fight for you... So I'll think of how I can word this better... Hmm!"
Lauren takes a sip of her drink

"Yeah. That's true. Shit... Didn't even think of that. Fuck. I don't know how it could be worded. Usually I'm good with talking with women like this. But, for some reason it's just not that easy for me this time around. Damnit...."
Jay paused for a moment as he pondered his thoughts. Thinking for a moment. Lifting his glass up, he took another drink from his glass before setting it down on the table. He shrugged his shoulders. Shaking his head...
"I'm just drawing a blank. I've just not got the answers for this one."
