"Reckless' begins to play, as Kevin Daniels walks onto the stage.
He begins to walk down the ramp to the ring, but stops halfway.
He turns around, facing the stage, and points to the Tron.
As he points, an explosion of fireworks occur, and a giant U.S. flag rolls down from the rafters.
He continues to the ring, and climbs in.
He calls for a mic from the ring crew, and one is handed to him.
He begins to speak...

"Last week, I had the greatest nights of my career, so far.
Words cannot describe what it felt like, after winning the 'Mr. Patriotic' tournament.
And beating the APW World Champion Joe Bruiser to do it, made it that much sweeter."

KD takes a couple steps around the ring, and continues...

"Now some would say I got lucky.
I say let them talk.
Because, no matter what happens for the rest of the year, I've still got my spot in the end of the year PPV.
And that, to me, is something to be proud of."

KD takes a few more steps, and continues...

"But on to tonight. It seems like 'Throttle' is shaping up nicely.
Some great matches on the card tonight.
But one name that is missing on the card.....

That is until now. I'm out here for a match.
I had a hell of a streak last week, and it's time to continue it.

Who wants to go one on one with the newly crowned 'Mr. Pariotic' in a match tonight?"

SS-"The man who has a problem with the statement you just said."-SS

SS-Everyone turns around as none other than Shawn Stages shows up in his wrestling gear, and title around his waist. Has a Shawn Stages logoed shirt on as well. The man who has kind of a problem with the idea of the last Paperview. He shakes his head slightly, and then gives a stern look towards the man in the ring.-SS

SS-"Mr. Patriotic? What the hell?

Since when has APW been stationed in North America? I don't get how you going to have a "Mr. Patriotic" tournament in Canada? That just doesn't make any damn since, and it kind of pisses me off that this even happened."-SS

SS-He makes his way into the ring now.-SS

SS-"And you son, you act like you are the big person around here now. Last time I checked, the people that hold the gold around here are the big people. You get one lucky night, and now you are the star!?

I don't think so. That's just like the dude Corona. Guy wins one tournament, but couldn't get the job done on a normally basis when it really matters. When titles are on the line. You want to prove yourself Mr. Patriotic? How about you beat me tonight, and earn your way into a title shot huh? Something that will actually open eyes besides lucky nights."-SS

"Bitterness rears it ugly head again."

KD looks across the ring to the man that has answered his challenge, Shawn Stages.

"You know if you had won the tournament, your story would be much like mine.
I take pride in winning the tournament on the greatest night of my career, so far.
One man came out on top, and that man was me.

You come out here, saying the ones with the gold are the so called 'stars' around here.
I agree to a point in that.

But, that title right there, honestly, means nothing to me.
You won it on a fluke night yourself, after the former champion got stripped of it.

Sure, you beat me eventually to get it, in that 6-way.
That's all fine too. I've moved on from that.

The only championship that matters around here is the APW World Championship, carried by the one and only Joe Bruiser.
You are one to say I got lucky to beat him, but I beat him none the less.
How's it feel to be second best, with a title that really means nothing?

But, enough about that.
You come out to challenge me.
It's on, pal.

Last time you got the better of me, I admit it.
But, this time will be a different story.
I'm riding high right now.
And I don't intend to stop rolling.

So, you want it, let do this.
But, let's make it a little more exciting.
How about we do this in a Cage?
Last time I was in the Cage, I beat the real APW Champion.
This time, I'll beat you."

SS-"Yeah. Oh yeah Joe Bruiser. The man who's barely around to do anything, but say a few lines, and escape with that title of his at the moment. The real champion hasn't gone anywhere, and shows what a true champion is all about. If that's what you like in a champion, then by all means sir, praise the man. I on the other hand will not. Until the punk shows me something worth seeing, and is actually hear every week. Showing that he cares about being champion, he will get my attention.

Honestly, who needs a title to be called the best anyways. You do know that the man makes the Champion right. You know, I know this, and the people who were in that match know this, flukes are for people who haven't done this before, and I certainly have been Champion before. Obviously you haven't gotten that far. So if you have beaten Joe Bruiser one night. Bet you haven't figured that Joe hasn't always on top or won every match. Things like that happen ya know. Its the people who don't get satisfied with one who actually succeed. You better take note, and learn something tonight."-SS

SS-He looks toward the crowd, and then back at him.-SS

SS-"When the cage drops tonight, and there is no where for you to run, it will realize that your past success serves no purpose. It won't help you, and I'll move on with my title, and you back on the sidelines waiting for another opportunity. Understand son?"-SS
