Interesting Turn of Events.....

Cabal made his way quickly to Mr. Steele's office. He knocks on the door as there was much to discuss.

Raising an eyebrow the sound of a knock upon his door once more, Mr. Steele leans back in his office chair giving permission for the unexpected caller...

"Yes please. You may enter."

Cabal enters Mr. Steele's office and closes the door behind him.

It seems that there have been some, interesting turn of events in the last 24 hours, wouldn't you agree?[/b]

[Mr. Warrington Steele]

"I don't know Mr. Xavier. Have I missed something I should be aware of?"

I'm surprised that you haven't heard. Vegas, Mr. Majesty himself, is out, with an injury....[/b]

[Joe Bruiser]

Mr. Steele and Mr. Xavier turn to see Joe standing there leaning against the door.

[glow=blue,2,300]BIG DADDY V is injured. Once I herd about that I JUST KNEW that I WOULD now be the new number one contender. But somehow I JUST KNEW that Cabal would have something to say about this. So I then made my way down here to speak with you myself Mr. Steele. But to my surprise Cabal moves like the Flash and is here already, Ironic isn't it? [/glow]

Joe begins to pace.

[glow=blue,2,300]So here is what I came up with Mr. Steel and Cabal. Cabal and me will have a match at Full Throttle to DETERMINE the NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP for the World Title. Since I know for a fact that Cabal STILL thinks he was the one who was screwed that night, when after all it was ME. The winner of this match will face Jason Cross for the World Title. Ya dig?[/glow]

Joe waits for a response from both men.

Cabal walks over and opens the door, then slams it shut again, then opens it again.

I'm sorry, reflexes and all. I hope having the door slammed in your face didn't affect you any, much like how I am going to win the #1 contendership. But you know Joe, only your egotistical ass would think that I was here to talk about the #1 contendership. I'm not, I was here talking about other business behind a closed door when your fuckin' Fro ass decides to show up unwanted.

And yea, I did get screwed. Why? I wasn't pinned. I wasn't involved in the decision. You were, so, by that right, I should inherit the #1 contendership without having to compete for it, but we know that management won't go for that. So be lucky that you are even getting a chance to go for it again when you have already lost one opportunity for it.[/b]

A delighted look graces the face of the Man of Steele, leaning back into his office chair as his eyes dart from one man to the other before speaking...

"My my...How Karma rears it's ugly head at the most interesting of times yes? Wonderful news gentlemen, wonderful. And I see neither of you wasted a second in inquiring out the NOW vacant number one contender spot. Impressive. And that is quite a proposal from yourself Mr. Bruiser. I see no reason why such a bout cannot take place actually. That IS...IF Mr. Xavier agrees?"

Do I look like I was born yesterday? Of course I'm going to accept. For far too long have I been in this place and not gone after a championship. That's going to change, very quickly. As Bruiser will once again, lose a chance to become the #1 contender as I take my rightful place, then go on to become the new APW World Champion.[/b]

[Mr. Warrington Steele]

"Never expected anything less of you Mr. Xavier. Not for a single moment. This should be a most interesting bout to take place between you two gentlemen. And regardless of the outcome, APW will have a number one contender worthy of carryng that moniker. Instead of some god awful Familia degenerate. Now, I gather we are all in agreement? Following Mr. Cross' and Mr. Taylor's little "program", the winner of the proposed contest will face off against the current World Champion, whoever that may be at the given time. Any questions gentlemen?

Actually, I do have one. Why would Bruiser, whose already had his shot, and was defeated in the decision for the #1 contender spot, be allowed another chance when I, not involved in the decision, have yet to even have a shot at the world title, even get another chance?

As far as I'm concerned, Bruiser's chance has flown the coup. He couldn't beat Vegas and lost in that match. I was never involved, so my ranking, as it were, would not be affected as such. I have not once this season requested or gone after a single title. So really, the only logical choice here, is to give me the shot, since I rank above Bruiser in the title shots department.[/b]

[Mr. Warrington Steele]

"If I remember correctly Mr. Xavier, netiher of you defeated Mr. Vegas actually so...I see no reason to reward either of you FOR your efforts in the match in question. Now if one of you do not believe you have what it takes to make it past this one obstacle to attain what you so desire? Please let it be known now so that we can move forward more swiftly instead of bickering over who deserves what. I selected both of you to get the job done and take out Mr. Vegas and that didn't happen. So in my eyes? Neither of you "deserve" the number one contender spot. Pinned or not. The fact of the matter is neither of you pinned Mr. Vegas. So you BOTH lost. Now, can we come to an agreement for this match already? Wait...We already have moments ago did we not? "

Alright fine. The match is on. But let me tell the both of you something. If that match does not go in my favor, then APW itself will feel the wrath of a Dragon like never before. I mean it. You better have wall to wall security for the aftermath of that match because I will bring this fucking building down. It's all or nothing for me. If I can't get that #1 contendership, then no one is going to and I will fucking see to it that it happens.[/b]

Cabal looks over at Joe.

So Joe, the question now lies on you. Do you hog the glory for yourself, or do you let what should be happen? The decision is yours. See you next week for that match. I bid you adu. You have much to think about in the next seven days. I'm sure you will come to reason with what should be.[/b]

Cabal gets up and leaves the office, but stops and whispers to Joe.

Cabal leaves the office completely and lets out a maniacal laugh.

Joe looks at Steele.

Steele shrugs and nods at the same time.

Joe gives a nod to Steel and leaves the office only to follow Cabal. He catches up to him and speaks.

[glow=blue,2,300]Cabal man you need calm down, exactly what is your problem anyway? It was a simple match idea, that was all. We both feel like we were screwed so why not duke it out for as few rounds? You want some advice from me? [/glow]

Joe whispers to Cabal.

[glow=blue,2,300]Don't ever threaten me again, the last guy that threated me like this I beat the snot out of him and I mean literly. I made the guy never able to box again, he is a janitor at a High School now and has to take bus to work everyday. It is not something I am proud of and I would rather not add you to that list. So don't ever threaten me again or I will squeeze your head together after I beat you senseless and YES I can do that. [/glow]

Joe takes a look at Cabal and walks away.
