Who Says You Can't Go Home Again? (O2A)

It was a few days after the first Full Throttle show. Even though she didn't win against her wrestling idol in Elizabeth Michaels, she did however fair pretty well during the match. Enough so that she was actually contemplating asking the wrestling phenom for a re-match.

She was proud of herself. She knew there was a very good chance she'd receive her first loss of her wrestling career against her but if you were going to lose, who better to lose to right? So a smile was apparent on her face as she and Jason made their way through the terminal of Calgary International Airport, lugging their bags along the way as they conversed over the first Full Throttle show.

As they walked along through the terminal, they noticed that a few of the other superstars signed with APW were present as well. Sarah noticed a few and commented as she looked up to Jason...


[shadow=purple,left,300]I see most of the talent are getting here early for the next show babe. I guess we did take the right approach choosing an early flight as well. But I tell you, it's good to be back in Calgary though. It's been sooooo long since I've been home. God I wonder if I'll have time to see a few of my relatives while I'm here. Oooo, maybe I can invite a few of them to the show this weekend! Now that would be cool, so they could see that I did finally reach my dream.

[Jason Cross]

Jason couldn't help but smile at Sarah's enthusiasm over being back home.

"I don't see why you wouldn't have time to visit your relatives, I mean yeah we'll be busy but no so much that you couldn't catch up. Now as far as inviting them to see you wrestle goes do it, you've got every reason to be proud of making it as a wrestler and I'm sure they would love to share that with you."

Sarah smiles up her beau, hearing his words of encouragement. She nodded her head as they neared the exit of the terminal of the airport. She felt like this all was a big deal being able to compete in front of the people who had supported her for so very long in her life.

It brought back so many memories. Some bad but mostly some good ones. Even a few involving her brother surprisingly. She then goes on to say...

[shadow=purple,left,300]Yeah I just hope THIS time I won't have to lose my match. Liz is a whole lot better than I thought. And that's scary when you factor in I basically idolized her for years.

Hopefully this time around I can add to the Cross' win total. But you did great in your match baby. Not that I expected anything else though. Tee Hee....[/shadow]

Jason grins at his wife while speaking.

"Hey you should be proud of the match you had Saturday, it was your first time in a ring since leaving Ohio and your first time in front of the big crowds and you gave Elizabeth a run for her money, anyone who takes you lightly after that showing is going to wind up on the losing end of a match fast. As for my match it's always nice to win in front of the home crowd, I just wish it didn't have to end with someone injured, but I suppose I should worry more about finding myself an opponent for the weekend, because I think it's time to start making sure that when title contenders are decided my name is right near the top of the list."

Oh that last comment certainly put a smile on Sarah's face. She herself was hoping for Jason to be in consideration for the top title contention spots.

She pauses as she thinks about her match with Liz a few days ago and her showing altogether.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Yeah. I did okay. I was a bit rusty I admit but...It was so fun to be in that ring with her. I was nervous before the match I almost burst. Kind of like when you know I'm about to come out of the shower y'know? :PTee Hee...But I'm sure I'll do a lot better next time around. I myself have to have my name in consideration for that Women's Title as well. Anybody in particular you would WANT to face at the next show?[/shadow]

Jason starts to look thoughtful about things while Sarah speaks.

"Who would I want to face well thats a tough one. I mean this is the first time in a while that it feels like I didn't already have a match waiting for me, and it actually feels good considering how most of my past matches had been coming about lately. I guess I'm just going to have to play things by ear at the moment and see if I can either find someone who stands out or get someone riled up enough that they feel the need to settle things in the ring. What about you, you going to try for a rematch already or see how the other ladies in the company stand up to things in the ring."

[shadow=purple,left,300]Well, I wouldn't mind mixing it up with Liz again but I think I may try my hand at another one of the ladies and see where the rest stand. We already see who's the measuring stick in the women's division. Liz and Kenisha showed they were the one's who are going to set the bar this season so...We'll see I guess...[/shadow]

Sarah and Jason walk out of the terminal and begin to take in the sights of the airport. Mainly looking for a cab to catch to the hotel they'll be staying at for the week.
