Cinder had taken up a temporary residence in the Angel's Tower. He placed his belongings in the room like a temporary storage space. Once he placed his things down, his pager started to beep. He reached for his page and looked down at it.
[/move] Cinder looked up from his pager. The man that hadn't be defeated in a 10 month period had arrived. And Cinder was going glory hunting. He wanted to be the first to put a dent in the big man's record. And he would make sure that he was the first to do it. He's heard of Dru's furiosity in the ring, and Cinder was going to make sure that he plowed through him. So, he turned and left the room, and went looking for Dru Nedermyer.

Elsewhere in the vast Angel Tower, Dru made his way to 1 of it's Gym facility. Lookking around, it was far more high tech then what he'd been accustom to, but impressive none the less. He walks over to one of the large windows which shows a gorgeous view of the Toronto skyline. Dru rests his hand on the glass and ponders...
Cant beat the view, that's for sure. But this is more then just a new setting for me. I've got a bad taste in my mouth, and the only thing that's gonna wash it away is the taste of competition. Nothin' else matters. I let myself get caught up in politics before...but never again. My buisness is what goes on in between the ropes...MY ropes. Damn near a year has gone past and the closest guy that came to beating me is a blond NYMPHO. My record means shit to me right now. All that matters is competition. And I know exactly who's first on the list...
A single name rings in Dru's mind. A name he was all to familiar with. A name that he'd come to respect.
Xavier. I took out the younger one 3 months ago, but it's Cinder who's the REAL challenge. If there's 1 man in this company I can get a fight from, it's him. If he wants it, I'm damn sure ready, willing and able to give him the fight of his life...
Suddenly...a rumbling could be heard from afar as other people seemed to be gaathering near the gym entrance...

The rumbling of people was caused by Cinder showing up at the exact time that Dru had finished his sentence. A smile appeared on Cinder's face as he targeted the big man. Cinder wasn't used to see Dru bald, but that would be something he would become accustomed to. As Cinder still there, a single solitary word slipped from his lips...
Dru.....

The 2 men stand off like gladiators of old. The tention is bloody boiling as they just stare at each other. Finally Dru breaks the silence...
The word is out that you're looking for a fight. Most importantly, a fight with ME. That's cool. That's REAL cool. 'Cuz the fact of the matter is, I'm looking for the same in you. I may have beaten your brother Ember...but let's face it...he's not on your level. I've been looking for a guy worthy enough of my attention for months. Congradulations...you've made the top of the list. The debut show is still a ways off, but I cant think of no better way of kick APW's existance off with The Monster vs. one of the famed "Mad Dragons"...one on one. The question is...are you man enough to take me on?

I will have to correct you on something Dru. Mad Dragon no longer. I no longer associate myself with my brothers. That's one of the reasons of why I am here. To make a name for myself so that I am not in the shadows of my brothers. So, at the first APW show, it will indeed be The Monster, but not aganst a famed Mad Dragon, oh no. It will be against The Canadian Machine, Cinder "The Canadian Snow Plow" Xavier.
Make no mistake. I am much more dangerous than I was in New York. What my brother did to you won't even be a reflection of what I am capable now.

Dru acknowleges Cinder's words and responds...
Big words from a big man, but not big enough. I can understand you stepping outta there "shadow", but against me, it's outta the frying pan and into the INFERNO. Make no bones about it, I've got nothing but respect for what you've done in this buisness, but I have NO intentions on backing down from ANYONE. Canada might be your home turf, but once we step into the ring, you're in the MONSTER'S DEN. And once you enter, the only way out is on your BACK.

Perhaps you do not understand who you are dealing with. You say that I am stepping into an inferno? I make inferno's. I make destructive fires and throw people in them. My own name is taken from a form of fire. If you're the inferno, then I'm the fires of Hephastus's furnace. We can both agree on that we are both equally destructive forces. I'll enter your Den and become the ruler of it.

Dru smirks at the brash confidence of Cinder. It's almost refreshing to him. Amid all the "Comedians" and "Knock-offs" He'd face in recent years, Cinder was something new. A man without fear. Just the kind of man he'd been waiting to face. He continues...
Then I guess APW has it's 1st official match. You and me. 1 on 1. No gimmicks. No stipulations. Just 2 men, 1 ring...and BRAGGING RIGHTS. You beat me, you become the man who ended "The Streak". I beat you, you become another notch on my gunpost. Sounds like a fair deal if you ask me.

It most certainly is. It will be a match for the ages. A shame that it won't take place at a ppv, because a match of this quality is definitely worth a ppv slot. But nonetheless, the match will happen. Our match will be the match that will set the bar for all the rest.
