Mikki was shocked as she read the article before her...
Shocked really wasn't strong enough word for it. It felt like all the air was driven from her lungs as she read the headline. IT couldn't be..he couldn't be dead...he just couldn't. She refused to believe it. Call her stubborn or dumb even, but it was too hard for her to believe that her idol...trainer, and somewhat friend was dead. She'd just talked to him about two weeks ago. HE seemed disoriented a little but not suicidal...maybe a little depressed but again not suicidal. Folding the paper up Mikki shook her head a little and tossed the paper on to the middle of the table. Picking up her soda before her Mikki takes a long sip before setting the glass back down. Looking at the picture of Pyro that was on the table Mikki looks at it again and doesn't know what to do...part of her wants to shed a tear. Another doesn't...it wants to just pretend she never picked the paper up and read that. Pretend it never happened. Pretend it was just nothing but a sick joke. PRetend that if she went back to Ann Arbor his house would still be there, and if she knocked on the door he would answer it.
But she knew that wasn't gonna happen...she knew this was real. as much as she didn't want to believe it it didn't change a thing. Taking a sip from her glass again Mikki looks up at the ceiling of the restaurant closing her eyes losing herself in her thoughts.
*Nathan had just stepped inside the restaurant for the first time since it had opened, he was always to busy it seems to stop in and relax and enjoy the environment, beautiful has he was told. But today things were worse, much worse infact. A close friend of his past away, and his wife left him. He needed to take his mind off of everything that was going on lately, especially with his big match at Game Over coming up. He took a seat next to APW new comer Mikki Wilson and order a beer. He couldn't help look over at the article she was reading, the same one he had read earlier today. He looks up at her, obviously devastated*

Looking down from the ceiling Mikki looks at Nathan a responds in a quiet voice.
"Well, I was a fan for a while and when I signed on as a manager in Detroit i met him. Tried to get him as a client...goofed on that. But we were kinda friends...When I made the transition to wrestler and Jessie Blair was fired from there...he and Punk trained me....finished what Jessie started. I wasn't real close to him but I lloked up to him for his accomplishments in the ring."
*The waiter arrives with Nathan's beer, a cold hard Labatt Blue. It had seemed like ages since he had one. He popped the top off and took a mouthful, a taste all to sweet, and just the thing he needed to get his mind off of everything*
