Never been around the Tower too much. He hadn't explored this place too much. Not in the past anyways. He only been around the suites. Chilling with his niggas and shit. He seemed to stumble upon something interesting. The APW Tower seemed to have a restaurant in the building. Nice. Tower View Restaurant & Lounge. That's what they call it. Time to get his drink on. Sit back. Chill. See if he can meet any of the other cats in this place. He pushed his way through the entrance door. Looking around the place. Seemed very laid back. Just the way he liked it. Nodding his head a bit. He cracked a smile. Walking forward. He looked around the lounge and the restaurant. Looking around at all the people in the place. He finds himself a nice little spot at the bar. Get his drink on. Chill out. You know. Grabbing himself a free stool at the bar. He rested his elbows on top of the bar. Looking over at the bartender who was busy serving someone else on the other end of the bar. He nods his head and holds one of his hands up. The bartender acknowledges the new arrival at the bar and sets the drink down in front of the person she was serving before making his way over to where Jay was sitting. Greeting Jay with a smile on his face.
Bartender: "Hey there stranger. What can I get you?"
"Hmm... Let's see...."
He paused for a moment. Looking past the bartender's curves and the bottles. Seeing what the selection was. Cracking a smile again. Nodding his head. Figured he'd go with his second favorite drink that his nigga got him into drinking. His eyes were drawn back to the bartender in front of him.
"Let me get a bottle of Hennessey."
Bartender: "Alright. Hehehe."
The bartender turns away from Jay for a brief moment. Looking through the selection behind the bar in front of her. It didn't take long for her to find a bottle labeled "Hennessey." Nodding her head, the bartender reached forward and grabbed the bottle. Then she stood up and turned around to Jay. Setting the bottle down in in front of him. The bartender then reached to the side of her and grabbed a clean glass. She set the glass down by the Hennessey. Looking back at Jay, the bartender gave him a wink.
Bartender: "Enjoy. Hehehe."
"Heh... Will do."
Jay nodded his head to the bartender. Then he reached forward and grabbed the bottle of Hennessey. Twisting the top off of the bottle. Setting the cap down on the bar, he used his free hand to take a firm hold of the glass. He lifted the bottle up. Tipped it forward into the glass. Pouring himself a full glass of Hennessey. Once the glass was full, Jay set the bottle down on the bar and brought the glass up to his lips. Tipping his head back. He took a sip of that great tasting alcohol. Great taste. Been awhile since he had some. He set the glass down on the bar and began to nod his head. The good shit, as his nigga referred to it. Someone seemed to be joining him at the bar. He saw in his peripheral vision that someone was taking a seat at the bar on an empty stool. Keeping his eyes and ear open, he kept an eye on the person. Possibly someone he can spark conversation with? We'll see... That person was...

... ABC, Anthony Conners... He was new to the tower, and figured he’d show himself around the place. He has a black bandana hanging out of his jean pocket, as his jeans hung below the waist, while wearing a gray hoodie. He makes his way into the restaurant/lounge, and looks around, nodding his head in approval.
“This place is pretty chill...”
He walks over to a free stool at the bar, next to a man with a bottle of Hennessey next to him. He nods at the man, and looks at the barkeep. He snickers as the bartender approaches him.
“What can I get ya’?”
He looks at the bar, and looks back at the mans bottle of Hennessey... He nods his head, as he points over to it.
“I’ll take what he’s havin’.”
“Sure thing.”
He grabs a second bottle of Hennessey as he slides it on the table, towards the man. He then nods.
“There you have it.”
Conners looks over at the man to his right, nodding.
“Sup?”

He shrugged his shoulders. Nothing much was up with him. He just needed a place to sit and relax. The trip from California to Canada was not an easy one. He's been a little bit since getting into town. Searching for answers all to questions all those monthes ago. Signing a contract. Getting his shit together and putting it in his suite. Things have been hectic today. With that shrug of his shoulders, Jay just simply replied to this stranger joining him at the bar....
"Shit. Just taking a load off here. Find a spot to just relax. Things been busy and a nigga had to keep moving all day. Need some time to just sit here and relax."
Jay lifted his glass off of the bar. Lifting it up to his lips and tipping his head back. Taking a quick sip from the glass before setting it down on the bar again. Looking over at this dude who sat by him. Didn't recognize him. Never seen his face before. He ordered the same drink as him. Hmm. Something odd about that. You don't really order the same drink as someone else unless you have some kind of intention in doing so. He didn't recognize the guy. Might have to keep himself alert to his surroundings. Can't be too careful. Might be one of them cats that popped him. He'll have to keep an eye on this dude. Nodding his head a little. Acting casual. Jay continue...
"What about you? What's up with you?"

“Me? Not much... not much, tryin’ to relax for a bit before I start wrestling here. Tryin’ to get back into the business after ‘bout 6 months rest. Incident at the airport back in New York, and I’m damn tired.”
He takes the bottle, taking a swig of it and placing it on the table. He removes his hat, and passes his hand through his afro-like hair as before placing it back on his head.
“So you new here too?”

"Damn. That's crazy. But yeah, guess you could say I'm new. New to this company anyways. About as new as you can get. Just got my contract signed and dropped my junk off at my suite. Got things official. Now I'm here. Relaxing. Having a drink. Chilling. If you don't mind my asking, what's this airport incident you talking about? Is it some really bad shit?"
He lifted the glass up to his lips. Taking another sip from his glass. Awaiting an answer from this dude. Not know what to expect. But being it's New York, he could only imagine what kind of shit this cat could have gotten himself into down there.

“Nah, nothin’ too serious. Just some people pissin’ me off at the wrong time. My flight was delayed to get here, and I get some ass holes at this airport, gettin’ all up in my face. You want to talk crazy shit, some crazy shit was my time in Brooklyn. That’s where some crazy shit went down... I had to get away from that shit, if I didn’t... hell I probably wouldn’t be sittin’ here right now.”

"Brooklyn? Yeah. I been through out there. One of my niggas lives out in Harlem. New York got some bad shit out there. Real bad shit. Really lives up to the whole "If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere," sort of deal. New York is a bad place. Depending on the parts you go to. You should go out to California if you wanna see some really bad shit though. Talking about going out to South Central... Going out to Compton... Los Angeles man.... That's where I come from. I'm from out West. California. Gang central nigga. You wanna talk about bad shit, that's the place to check out nigga. I've seen some crazy shit out there. I've done some crazy shit out there. I ain't going to say nothing about it though. Don't know who's listening. Ya know? World's a crazy place to live in man. Gotta be a soldier in order to survive nigga."

“Hell, I heard bout’ California... that’s for sure. Been there once in my life time... and shit... it was crazy. I had to get away from Brooklyn though. [He lowers his voice.] Shouldn’t really be sayin’ this shit in a public place, but I got a damn gang lookin’ for my ass. I get found, I’m as good as mawfuckin’ dead. That’s why I gotta stay on the down low for a bit... Wrestling in a major company ain’t the smartest thing, but fuck it, they don’t watch much tv, and if they do see me, than shit, I’ll deal with it when the time comes... But yeah, long story short, when you involved in a gang, no matter where you are, someone’s bound to notice ya’, that’s why I’m tryin’ to get as far away from Brooklyn as I can...”

"Damn nigga. Involved with gang shit? That's some shit you don't want to mess with nigga. That shit will land you in a box, six feet deep with the worms. I know that shit too damn good. Too damn good. I tell ya. That gang shit will get ya killed. Wear the wrong color or sport something the wrong way... Niggas will shoot first and ask questions later. Don't give a damn who the hell gets caught in the crossfire. "
Oh, how Jay knew that all too well. Hell. He's one. Just look at him. You can't mistake the signs. Not the colors you might have seen him sporting in the past. But it's the same concept. Just different gang now. But that's a story for another time. Jay began to nod his head.
"What gang you talking about man? I might know them cats."

“Your tellin’ me... damn... got a knife to the side of my face, that’s left a scar at the bottom of my right cheek... and shit, it ain’t no small ass gang that’s after me, it’s the Bloods. Shit, last I heard they where spread out lookin’ for my ass... They think I attacked one of there home boys on new years eve... I’ve been keepin’ away since then...”

"Bloods?"
Jay pondered his thoughts for a moment. Bloods in New York? Could that be the squad his nigga Murda formed? He knew that dude set up something out in New York with the Bloods. He was there. The Bloods and Crips Peace rally. He was there. Helping supporting the gang unity. Of course, he was wearing those colors during that time. Formely a Blood himself, he could see how the New York Bloods that Murda set up would do that kind of stuff. Them boys didn't play no games. He wondered if this cat was being chased by those Bloods.
"That's fucked up. Got niggas looking for you? Best bet might be out of the country. Bloods is a nationwide thing in the states. Better hope you don't get too big out here. That name get on a screen or get on a newspaper... Someone catches a glimpse... Shit is fucked from there. Fame can be a bitch for a wanted man. I know how that shit can get."
Boy did he ever. Sniped monthes ago for being associated with a certain "family." Fame almost got him killed. But he's going for the reversed psychology this time. Get his fame up again. His enemies who tried to kill him pop up. Find their asses laid out with a bullet in their dome. Coax them out of hiding with his fame. Wouldn't that be a bitch? Ha.

“Ya’ know, I thought bout’ that plenty of times. But shit, I’m not gonna’ run and hide like a damn chicken... If I get found here, I get found and I’ll deal with it when tha’ time comes. Right now, Imma’ live my life to tha’ fullest, and do what I wanna’ do. Cause ya’ know, If I was to leave the country, I’d probably be found anyways...”

"Better strap up then. Can't deal with niggas like The Bloods without being prepared. Them cats ain't going to be the talking types if they're pissed. When ya got a gang pissed off at you... Only way out of it is in a box nigga... Somebody gotta die... Better be prepared for if that day comes... Ya know? Keep a heater by your side at all times. Never know when one of them cats is going to come right around the corner and pop a couple in your dome. "
He lifted his glass to his lips. Taking a sip of the Hennessey. Finishing off what was left inside. Then he set the glass down. Reaching forward with his free hand, he grabs the bottle. Lifting the bottle up and tipping the top into his glass. He pours himself another. Filling it back up to the rim before setting the bottle back down on the bar.

“I’m ready for em’ that’s for sure. Wherever it may be, I’m prepared for that day if they manage to find me... So if they ever find me, it’s down to two things. I’m fucked, or I manage to get away... All I gotta say is, I hope they forget bout’ my ass.”
He lets out a small laugh as he takes another swug of the bottle...

"Hopefully they do... Don't need anymore blood on the streets cause of gang violence... The media would have a field day with that. Even the police would love that. Give them more reason to harass niggas in the hood for no damn reason. Arrest niggas for crossing the street and dressing like a gang member. Hopefully they do forget. Don't need another murder in the streets."
He didn't know if this cat knew a thing about the gang he was messing with. Gangs don't forget so easily. He knew that. He wasn't going to tell dude that. Didn't want this nigga fearing for his life and looking over his shoulder 24/7. He says he's ready, but Jay's not quite sure if he knows what he had gotten himself into. He better have some back up. Those niggas would be coming strapped and in large amounts. He shook his head. Lifting his glass to his lips. Taking a sip. Setting the glass back down.
"Definitely don't need that now..."

“But ‘nuff about that talk for now. Let’s change subject’s. What you decide to come to APW for? Any reason at all you chose here, and no other company?”
He scratches his chin, as he takes a sip off his bottle.

"Wasn't really many choices to be honest. I don't really see many places I can go. There's not really many places that I could call home. I had a rough start. Got involved with two previous companies, but personal problems arose and I couldn't get to work in them. Could have ran through the indy circuit some more. But I decided to come back here for two reasons. One is personal. The second is that I used to have one of my closest homies in this spot before. He gained huge sucess before whatever happened to him. Figured I'd do the same. Decided I would get my big break here in APW and finally get this career of mine off the ground. How about you? Why you pick APW and no where else?"
