Maniac had recently looked at the card released and saw his name on it. Sure he was in town, but still he didn't think anyone knew that. It was definitly a surprise, but one of those you chuckle about. Still might as well find out why Lindsay chose him.

So he made his way up to her office. He was wearing a hoodie with some black pants. The sleeves on his hoodie were rolled up so the tattoos on his arms were visible. Finally, he gets to her office and wastes no time in knocking.

Lindsay was "working" on some important stuff at the moment. But she always had time to get side tracked.

Maniac walks in and takes a seat without being told to. The smirk on his face as he looks at Linds.

I must say I come back from prior business I find quite the surprise. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but to see me as your choice and not Hunter is quite the surprise.

Hunter disappointed me last weekend, He has his chance to redeem himself. But until then, he doesn't get any speical favoritism from me. You make me look bad, I get angry. You make me look good, you'll be rewarded. Its as simple as that.

Maniac chuckles a bit.

Maniac chuckles.

I think the correct term would be torture instead of games. What's next? You going to tell me, you want me to go all out with this date too right? Flowers, candy, chocolate heart, horribly sung song? Or is just reserved for you?

See we both like to play games though I guess. The question then becomes who's willing to go farther? I hate to say this and brag and all, but you probably won't go as far as me. Maniac thinks for a minute.

But since there's such a price if I don't come in the top two. What do I get if I do come in the top two other than advancing in whatever this is? Fair is fair after all.

Lindsay looked down to her paper work again.

Maniac lets out a sigh.

You're right, fair is for fairy tales. But the same could be said about me doing as I'm told. It's got to be made worth my while. Whether you're CEO or not, I won't just do as you say. Sliding the paper shredder out from the side of her desk, she grabs one particular contract out. As all final contracts were stored with her.

Maniac looks at the contract and then at Lindsay finally serious.

Cocky pricks may be easy to find, but someone with my talents isn't. I've seen what APW has to offer, and it's not likely they'll get you ratings. At least not the ones I can. Whether you play around or not isn't important. See, I don't play bitch. I don't care the trouble it's gotten me into. I will not be your bitch.

See you shred that contract and I won't bitch or complain. See you can be a bitch if you want, but I really have no soul or emotions and you do. I won't go after you. No smirk. His eyes watching Lindsay's every move. He had no problem being a headache if someone challenged his pride like now. Hell he was good at it and damn proud of it. Though this probably wouldn't end too well challenging Linds who was suppose to be the nice one.

All that could be heard was the loud buzzing of Maniac's contract.

Family? Friends? Go for it. You lay a finger on my daughter Maniac. And I promise you, you will regret every minute you have ever breathed. I will dismantle you piece by piece. Very slowly. You think you are some emotionless soulless piece of shit. Don't ever try crossing between a mother and her child, you have no idea what you are fucking with.

Lindsay had stood up leaning towards him hands planted firmly on her desk. He would learn. Sometimes superstars...well ex superstars needed to be put in their place.

Maniac watched his contract get shredded.

And now that the first shot has been fired, I'll make your job more stressful than ever. Your life will be hell now. See, I won't be hard to find. Each week, I'll still go out to that ring at least once, regardless of what you say or do. So I'd suggest if you're going to have me taken out, you do it before I leave this office. I'll be sure to tell your daughter too how because of her mother she's being dragged into this and how she doesn't love her.

A smirk crosses Maniac face, but not a cocky smirk. No it's more of a demented and dark smirk.

How well do you think the mental state of your daughter will be if she's dragged into this? I mean being a child or close to it, I don't think it'd take much to break it.

Maniac gets up from the chair and walks to the door he turns back to Lindsay.

Should have realized Linds. You've got nothing to use against me and I can use stuff against you. Shouldn't have challenged my pride. Now your life is fucked.

Maniac doesn't move deciding to let Linds say one last thing at least. Who knows, maybe she'd change her mind though he doubted it. He doubted Linds thought he'd really go that far.

Lindsay just smiles.

Maniac lets out a chuckle as he just walks out without a word more. Damn straight he's big and bad but can't forget sexy too . He'd probably see a lot more of Lindsay since he couldn't back down now after all that. He had to definitely follow through now.
