Jason sat in his locker room waiting on the call to the champion versus champion match. He had for the second year in a row it seemed pulled out the victory at the biggest show of the year and this time he walked away with the APW World Championship as well. He found it so very fitting to that to win the match he had beaten Cabal Xavier the man who had sworn he was going to beat Jason and devastate him and yet fate stepped in and events played out just the opposite and once again Jason had beaten Cabal. Not only that he had beaten his long time rival King Vegas as well to reclaim the APW World Championship, and to Jason although it seemed his victories over Vegas were few and far between they always seemed to come when things mattered the most. His thoughts now though focused on the Champion versus Champion match. How could he possibly go out there and fight his own wife, he knew it was just a match and his job but raising his hand against her felt wrong in every sense of the word. Still there was no avoiding it at this point and all he could was go out there and fight what would undoubtedly be the most difficult fight of his young career and with his heart not truly in it he wondered if he could even win the match at all. So he did all he could now and waited for a match that seemed so far off and all to close at the same time.
