The sound of Good Girls, Bad Guys was fading out as Jay Crack and Nattie Roxx had taken the ring. The Tag Team Championship belts in plain view laid on the shoulder of the APW Messiah. Microphone already in being held in his other hand, Jay looked out to the cheering crowd with a smirk on his face. It seems that it's time for him to proceed with giving them what they need. A brief nod of the head, he begins to lift the microphone up to his lips to speak...
"It's a sad, sad day when there is a lack of hunger in this company. I mean, sure. We do have champions. We do have them. But where are the challengers? It seems that the only time that we have people who are starving for gold is when the title is vacant because the previous champion decided to go M.I.A. That's what it seems to look like to me. That's what I've seen. There's no hunger for gold unless there is a championship that is in need of a champion. Sometimes it's up to the bosses to get the roster into the mix with champions. Sometimes it's up to the champions themselves having to call out someone for a title shot. It's sad. It really is. Where is the hunger at? Where are those who clawed and fought their way to the top of the ladder for the chance to take the top spot? Where is the driving force to become a champion? Where is it?"
He paused for a moment as he looked around the arena. Looking for some kind of challenger to ask for a title shot. Not finding one, he just shook his head and lifted the microphone up again...
"I mean, with the lack of challengers out there... It almost seems pointless to carry a championship these days. I'd have a better chance at looking for someone to face me for this title in the audience right here then to come out here and ask for someone to come down that ramp and actually gather the courage to come for our titles. Which, I'd be more than happy to defend my title against the crowd if it wasn't for the rule of being part of the roster. But anyways... Guess it just brings me down here to the point. Looking for a challenger who wants to try and take our tag team titles away. I know. You guys aren't worthy in the locker room area but, we've gotta defend them against SOMEBODY tonight. So... Come on down."
He lowered the microphone and awaited for someone to answer the call.
