Lauren found herself sitting in the locker room, unsurprisingly she had exited the match early. Lauren knew she was better than this, a run of bad form you might say but to lose this many matches in a row was simply ridiculous. She began the removing of her wristbands pretty much were just tape wrapped around them. Then she began unbuckling her boots, every inch of her sore body was crying out to her brain.

How did I get into this mess

"I have never ached like this before, but what can I do. This isn't Lauren Blayze it isn't even Lauren Kennedy, I'm a nobody, nothing. A year ago I would have took that title tonight, no matter who was in the match, was I that good or did my father pay them to lose?"

Lauren looked up to the monitor in the locker room as she heard Scarlett's theme play, this meant a new Rose Champion and it was probably the one Lauren least wanted right now. Lauren shook her head before picking up one of her boots

"ARRGGHHH!"

Lauren grunted as she threw the boot across the room, then she sighed

What did that achieve Lauren?

A thought in her head delivered in her mother's tone, Lauren grabbed her stuff from her locker and made the walk to collect her boot. A broken buckle on it. Lauren sighed as she tossed it in a nearby garbage can, maybe it was for a hardcore match who knows but Lauren didn't really care as she then throw the second boot in. Then she shuffled back to her to her bag and began to undress for the shower, for her it was a must and always had been. Seeing some of the guys fore go it disgusted her, she remembered what her mother said

Cleanliness is Godliness

Then one of Lauren's habits came out as it always did in the shower she sang, Lauren had a beautiful voice maybe not the ideal pop music voice but certainly good enough for her to sing her own theme song which she had done for her father's federation.

By the time Lauren had finished singing she had finished her shower, she didn't hang around in there she walked out and wrapped a towel round herself and grabbed another to dry her hair a little. Then Lauren looked in the mirror, she didn't know what to judge herself on or if she should. Lauren then looked at the scar on the left side of her chin, and she remember the night that she got it. The earlier days of her marriage an argument, she'd caught Logan signing an autograph for a female fan at the time it bothered her a lot. When they got home she let Logan have it, she ranted and raved at him until he snapped and argued back. Lauren then remembered grabbing the plate and smashing it over his head, and one fragment cut her chin. Most men would have ran or hit back but Logan wanted to make sure she was OK

"He was a great man, he didn't deserve what I did... Maybe it's karma that I suck now there I said it I suck completely..."

Lauren then hears the squeak of the door despite being in mid rant at herself and she turns to see...

[Nattie Roxx]

A night without a loss, now that was something, especially when you got yourself booked for two separate matches, and you suffered just about every type of loss imaginable before having a mentor help you guide your way into being a wrestling success. But was Nattie really a success, or were things just going her way for a while? Nevertheless, she was in the locker room now, dressed completely in her "street" clothing, the PPV t-shirt, and a short pair of jean shorts with socks leading up to her knees. She wasn't even sure why she choose this wardrobe, but it was fairly comfortable, so who was to complain?

Sitting down on the bench, she was bent over, tying her shoes before the singing subsided, causing Nattie to sigh. Why stop? It made the otherwise quiet locker room somewhat more pleasant. Now sitting up, she gets tapped on the shoulder by Scarlett, who gives her a pleasing smile before waving good-bye, and heading out of the locker room door. "If only people understood that she wasn't the person she plays inside that ring," she whispers to herself as she now stands up, and finds her eyes greeting the APW Locker Room Idol, looking somewhat surprised. Nattie, unsure of how to treat this situation, gives her a kiddish wave, and a nervous smile before grabbing her duffel bag, and placing it on her shoulder.

Lauren smiles nervously back, her face instantly becoming bright red. Her singing was something she didn't like people to catch her doing, almost a secret shame you could say. Also her little speech wasn't something she wanted everyone to hear, certain failures and home truths were somewhat difficult to deal with

I thought I was alone

"Alright, this is a little awkward? How much did you hear?"

[Nattie Roxx]

"I've only been in here as long as you've been singing, though, I can't say anything regarding Scarlett, she was already here when I arrived. I'm guessing she wasn't here long either, when she left she was still in her wrestling gear, with the exception of her elbow pads, and wrist bands...must have been in a hurry." Looking away, she wasn't sure how to feel regarding this, edging away, "I can leave if you need to be alone, I was just about to anyways..."

Scarlett was in here too, no no no!

The door squeak was her leaving it had to be. Lauren's smile faded as Scarlett was the last person she wanted to hear that was there. Then she didn't really want to be alone, and Nattie seemed really nice

"No, it's ok... actually I wouldn't mind some company. I promise I won't sing anymore, it's just kind of a shower thing I do! I kind of feel a little embarassed but I don't seem to have too many friends around here"

[Tank]

-tank was walking down the hall drinking a bottle of water when he suddenly herd a women singing-

i could of sworn i herd a women singing hm its really good i recognise that song

-tank walks toward were he herd the voice it leaded to a locker room the door was cracked open alittle tank nocked on the door-

hello is any one there!?

Hearing a man's voice wanting to enter the woman's locker room, and Lauren with just a towel wrapped around her. Looking at Nattie Lauren wasn't really sure what to do

"You haven't planned a rendez vous here have you?"

Rendez vous WTF?!?

Lauren quickly went into her bag for something to quickly slip into

"Shit!"

Then she found her top and pants

"Just a second!"

Lauren called before putting the clothes on in double quick time, Lauren nervous the smiled at Nattie before shrugging her shoulders

"Come... In?!?"

[Tank]

-tank enters the locker room mask in hand he speaks-

o hello there lauren and nattie,i herd someone singing and i was woundering who it was.who ever it was it was really good.im tank by the way and of course me and nattie have met.

Tank I have heard that name before... But where

Lauren looked at Tank and his face was familiar to her but she just couldn't figure out where from

"It was, are you sure I have always thought I must sound terrible?"

Lauren then holds out her hand, she had the feeling she and Tank might have met before but rather than let it bug her all day long she figured just ignore it and talk to him now

"I'm Lauren, owner of the voice you heard!"

Lauren laughed she was trying to be funny but only to break the ice, not to show off

[Nattie Roxx]

Nattie, not feeling comfortable with a man in the women's locker room, taps Lauren on the shoulder, waving good-bye before giving Tank a nervous look, and leaving.

Lauren realizes why Nattie hastily leaves and she wanted to talk to her about something, but she was now gone

RATS

"Tank, you do realize that this is the women's locker room? Technically you aren't supposed to be in here, as there could be... well nevermind..."

Lauren wasn't going to say there could be naked girls running around here, as then he might come in more often

[Tank]

-tank quickly responds-

-tank took a look at laurun she looked formilyer as well-

well i better get going maybe we can continue this some were other than the womens locker room.

-tank gives a small chuckle-

Lauren nods before chuckling herself

"Maybe we can go get a coffee or something! I would say alchohol but I am trying to get in fighting shape again"

Lauren smiled as she grabbed her bag and headed for the door...

[Tank]

-tank smiles and opens the door for lauren-

sounds like a plan id like that.

A gentleman, a rare thing in this business

"Thank you Tank"

Lauren walked through the door and stopped just outside putting her bag over her shoulder. Then she waited for Tank to exit the locker room, she was being sure as not to draw anybodies attention so that Tank could leave and nobody bar, Lauren and Nattie knew that he had entered the locker room.

"OK, the coast is clear!"

[Tank]

-tank exits and takes a quick look around then looks at lauren-

thanks well i guess il see you around then

-just as tank was about to walk away he turns to lauren-

O! how can i reatch you?

Lauren looked at Tank for a moment before replying with

"Oh, I'll be around... Just visit the bar here!"

Lauren turns and begins to walk away, giving a bit of a wiggle as she left

"BUH-BYE! MR. Tank"
