There was almost an empty gaze in her eyes as her final piece of luggage was gently dropped to the floor beside the bed of her's and Jason's suite. A deep sigh from her as she turned back towards the door of the suite, still able to hear the sporadic sounds of Jason finishing up his bit of packing and reassembling the items acquired over the nine month long season that had just ended a few weeks prior.
Turning slowly back to the luggage lined up beside the bed she and her husband shared for those nine months, she reached onto the bed retreiving the sunglasses she had stolen from her brother a few months earlier, placing them on as a deep breathe was exhaled from her lungs, glancing around the room seemingly for the final time. The season had it's ups and downs...It's victories as well as it's moments of loss...It's times of being at the highest level she could take herself as well as those moments where she felt she couldn't have gotten any lower. She had made new friends...Lost old ones as well as new ones...All of it came rushing back to her almost simultaneously as she stood there motionless. Once again turning back towards the door, she reached down, grabbing the two final suitcases containing her belongings that needed to be loaded into their vehicle downstairs, a small grunt could be heard as she struggled a bit to lift them both, seconds later regaining her balance as she began her way to the door, calling out to her beau...
"Jason?!!?...Baby...Mind giving your wife a hand with these last two bags?"

Jason hearing Sarah call for him stepped over to her right away. Sure no problem hun. I can't believe this is finally over and done with and we're going to be on our way, just the two of us none of the pressure from the last season to cause us any stress, and what a way for us to end the year you the Rose title holder and me the World champ, just goes to show which family has the best wrestlers in it I guess. Jason picked up the bags for Sarah and smiled at her finally it was time for them to just live for the two of them and he couldn't be happier about that.

Sarah smiled slightly, hearing the words from her beau before retrieving a few of the on the lighter size bags nearby. Tossing one over her shoulder and holding the second one by the strap with both hands, her steps began to carry her towards the door at a slow pace while she spoke... "Getting cocky there are we tiger? ...Tee Hee...No, but we DID do pretty well for ourselves didn't we? I guess it goes to show that a little hard work and determination CAN get you somewhere in the day and age of sports entertainment. But, this break was long overdue for us I think sweetie. All I want to see is miles and miles of sand on that beach again...*Sigh* God I can hardly even wait to get there at this point. Hopefully we can just have some peace and quiet and no more...Drama or anything. I don't think I could take much more after this past month or so.

Jason smiled at sarah as he spoke. Well I'm happy to say or biggest worry now is picking out a nice relaxting spot on the beach, preferably one far from other people so we don't get interuppted if your sundress happens to come lose again like it did last time we were in Aruba. I know what you mean about not being able to take much more though, which is why I'm thinking a change in scenery is in order for next year because there are to many parts of this one I don't want to do again. Hoisting the bags up Jason followed his wife toward the door mostly so he could admire the view.

Her smile grew as each second passed, as she could feel his eyes on her from behind. Pervert. She already knew what his mind was on and it was fully expected. Poor boy. He didn't know she wanted rest did he?
Finally exiting the door of their suite, she turned slightly allowing for him to make it through the doorway with the two large bags, closing and locking the door behind them. His steps had already slowly begun in the direction of the nearest elevator towards the end of the corridor of the floor they were on. After a quick wave and a smile in the direction of a few nearby staff here in the Angel Tower, she followed behind, replying with a trace of laughter in her voice...
"Well...I HEAR that quite a few people are thinking the same way actually. I don't know. I don't know what's going on with that scenario but...A change? Change can never hurt I guess. Not really that many options out there though. And there are some places I just REFUSE to go to. If you know what I mean..."

Oh I know what you mean there are places I refuse to go as well. Guess we'll just have to take this time off and see what comes up for us. In the mean time though we hit Aruba and get all the rest relaxtation and fun in that we need. The wait for the elevator was short one and inside Jason continued to speak. Heck as fars as next season goes I'm not even sure what I want to do myself really I mean I managed to accomplish one of my biggest goals and win a wrold title, no real rush in figuring things out though I guess since the next season is still a long ways off.

Stepping into the elevator, she slowly found her way to the panel needed to send them on their way towards the ground floor. Pressing the required button, seconds later the doors began to close just as she spoke up once again, her sights focused on the ceiling above as she responded...
"Yea. I know I've done way more than I even wanted to this season. Didn't think I'd get to do some of those things but...Oh well. Who knew. As far as next season and APW goes...I'll have to think on that one for a while I believe. It wasn't a bad experience or anything it's just..."
A slight pause in her words as the motion of the elevator causes for her to jump a bit. Instantly reaching her free hand towards the nearby rail to balance herself once again before going on...
"Hard to say really. Just an uneasy feeling about things around here sometimes I guess. Then again that's with any promotion I'd suspect...I can honestly say that I'm going to miss quite a few people around here though. Never thought I'd feel that way when this time came..."

I know what you mean about missing the people around here. I mean I was never the most social of people but still there are a lot of good people here and I really do hope things go well for them. I guess in the end I will miss the place, but it just seems best in my mind if I move on next year there's a tension here that I don't like. He stared almost absent mindly at the ceiling of the elevator for a moment waiting for it to reach the ground floor and let them out so they could be on there way to a nice relaxing vacation.

There was an eerie silence in the elevator after Jason's last comments. She then began to think of all of the people she had met during the year. The good and the bad. The people she had not liked very much in the beginning but soon began to see them in a different light. The people she hadn't liked very much in the beginning and those feelings remained the same throughout the duration of the season. She'd miss them all in one way or another. For if not for them being who they were, she couldn't have been who she was and who she had became over the course of the past nine months.
She sighed heavily as she could feel the elevator coming to a stop, thinking of all of the friends she wanted to stay in contact with even if she never returned to Toronto. Laura, Kenisha, Rebecca, Lindsay. Her brother Cross and in some strange and sick way perhaps...Her sister Casey as well. They all had made quite the impact on her stay here. Some more than others, but all appreciated equally in the end.
The elevator doors opened slowly, the chatter throughout the lobby immediately meeting her ears as she hesitated a second before stepping off of the vessel, Jason no doubt close behind. Her eyes quickly began to scan the lobby, seeing wrestlers and staff alike coming and going in an abundance. Almost like rush hour traffic it seemed. She giggled a bit as she switched the bag over her shoulder to the opposite shoulder before responding during their walk towards the exit a few dozen yards away...
"Well you know my mother always said. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes you can't see why in the beginning but...Eventually? You will. Eventually you will."
Their efforts continued on towards the exit, pausing a few times along the way wishing farewells to the sporadically approaching APW wrestlers and staff wishing them well in the future. Not sure if they'd return or if when they did, they'd ever encounter one another again. A surreal scene it was. Uncertainty undoubtedly, yet at the same time the break was very much needed by the both of them.
Within minutes, Sarah was pushing the doors to the Tower open wide enough for her beau to make the exit with her and the final two pieces of their luggage for their much needed vacation. Immediately the cool Toronto air could be felt lightly brushing her dark as midnight hair into her sights, her only free hand removing it instantly as she stared out into the massive parking lot of the Angel Towers. The smile on her face grew by the second as the couple began that final walk towards their awaiting vehicle, clearly the both of them pondering the days away from the madness of the "business", where they could get back to being "normal" people. No drama. No constant and tiring extended traveling schedules. No glory hogs and imitation wrestlers to make things seem harder than they should be, nor the need to push ones self to extreme limits, day in and day out. Just rest and relaxation...At home...On the beautiful beaches of Aruba. Who could ask for anymore than that?
