KD is in the gym, working out. While he works out, he is thinking about who he would like to face next....

His APW debut match with Storm went well, even though he lost. He wanted to learn from a proven star, and that is just what he did. He stood toe-to-toe with the man, the match could have gone either way. He felt good about that. The better man won that day. Their paths would cross again someday, hopefully, for Storm gave him quite a match.

But, that was the past, so it was onto his next challenge. He wanted to face anyone he could learn from, and make his career a better one. Who it would that be, that he didn't know.

He continued to train with the free weights, stopping for a minute, as he saw someone walk in.....

Viper felt he had been slacking on the workouts and so he had decided that he needed to hit the gym

Bloody hell it's fancy in here, you don't see many gyms like this back home

He glanced over to Daniels, he didn't know him so maybe he was new here too

Not so sure meself I lost track of pro wrestling for a while

Viper decides to go over to the free weights and start with those himself, he starts with a fairly moderate weight to warm up

'Kevin Daniels is the name...APW's resident jobber, so it seems.
I can't get a win to save my life in this place.
And the one I did get, sad to say, looks like it was a fluke.'

KD looks at Viper, and doesn't recognize him at all. He does have a good look, possibly a tag team partner for the new division being set up? He continues...

'So, you new around here? I haven't seen you around.'

Viper smiled as he thought of the long but inexpensive journey here, and he wasn't sure if he should say that he travelled on a boat full of goods and stuff to get here

You could say that I am fresh off the banana boat, as they say from little old England. I am sure that if you work hard you'll soon pick up a win

'Yeah, I've only been here a couple of weeks myself.
So far it's a good fed to be a part of, even with my losses.

The losses don't bother me that much, honestly.
Although, it would feel good to have a few more wins, that is for sure.

But, like you said, the wins will come in time by training hard.
It is what I intend to do to become a more than just a name here..... someday.

You got any friends here that you know?

Me, I'm a loner. No one ever seems to give me the time of day. But, that is fine by me.
I find that friendships in the business tends to turn ugly in the long run.
Trying to out do each other and all that.

So, I keep to myself, mostly. That way, when I do make it big, I can say I did it all on my own..... not by riding the coat tails of anyone.
