In the backstage area, Kenisha can be found limping through the hallways as two of APW's referees underneath her arms help her walk. She was in plenty of pain from the match with her opponent of the night Christina and the aftermath that followed after that with the table. She said she was ready for some pain and here she is, taking the pain that has been given to her. But she wasn't going to cry over it. She wasn't even going to complain about it. She knew the deal when stepping into this business. She knew the risks and danger that came with the territory. She just felt shame that she knew she could have done better in the ring tonight. For some reason she had lost her focus. Kenisha felt she shouldn't have gotten herself so worked up before the match. That's what she felt was her downfall. She had a look of anger on her face as she slowly tried to keep moving the best she could. This between her and Christina was far, FAR from over. As she walks, she hears..

Hey Kenisha you are alright?
Christina walks over to Kenisha and reach under her right shoulder, to hold her.
Sorry for that assault but i have a reputation to keep. And I am sure you have known what you are up to as you challenged me.

A look of confusion formed on her face as she looks over at Christina. She couldn't do much in the condition she was in at the moment. She felt so defenseless at the moment. Somehow she felt this could very well be a trick. She had to keep her guard up somehow. She didn't know how she was going to defend herself at this point but she wasn't going to be fooled. Reputation or not, Kenisha felt that the table was uncalled for. She kept her silence for the time being but didn't take her eyes off of Christina.

So lets get back to the locker room and let us look for some ice to cool your bruises.
Christina smiles lightly and walks with Kenisha in the direction of the locker room.

Okay...
That's all Kenisha could muster to say from what she could manage to make out. She continued to keep her eyes on Christina. She still didn't trust her. She wasn't going to be fooled by this "nice" act.

Christina sees that Kenisha is still angry at her for the things she did after the match.
Look Kenisha, you shouldn't take it personal what I do out there Its just a business, and I don't get payed to be nice out there. I do what I have to do. You shouldn't forget that when you stand out there that people like me, will do anything to destroy so nice people like you..

"Destroyed? Ha! You destroyed nothing. You have only temporarily damaged a nice person like me. You may have knocked me down, but I will be back for round two. This is not over. This is so not over. You can bet that the next time we square off in the ring, it won't be the same as it was tonight. You can count on that.
Kenisha wasn't one to hold grudges herself but she knew for a fact that she could have done better. She just knew it. She had just been a bit distracted from what they had said back and forth to each other before the match. That anger that burned deep within her. She usually was also not the angry type but that attack on her after the match just did it for her.

Christina looks sad as she realize that Kenisha takes it personal. Its always hard for young wrestler to understand the business, especially when it comes to violence.
Sure I hope so but you should be ready for anything out there. When you are in the same ring as I, everything can happen. So be better prepared.
Christina let Kenisha go who sank down at the chair in the locker room. She walks over to the refrigerator to get some ice.

In the chair, she slowly closed her eyes as she tried to relax her muscles. Despite how much her small frame hurts at the moment. Kenisha took a deep breath before letting out a sigh. She didn't expect her second week that she would already be banged up like she was. She just sat there in the chair as she awaited for Christina to bring some ice for her war wounds.

Christina brings her the ice and sat down behind her to hold it on her back.
So, now I have a really big question. Are you truly a virgin? I thought you and 187 are a couple.

She half opens her eyes as she tips her head slightly to look up at Christina. A small bit of blush could be seen on her cheeks as she is questioned. She then looks down to the floor while she responds...
"Yes. It's true. I have yet to know a "man's touch" so to speak. Not once in my life. I can understand how people get myself and 187 as a couple confused. He's more like... a big brother sort of thing. We've known each other since we were little kids. He's always been like a guardian angel of mine. I know he may be involved in the gang activity and he appears to be one of those hard types. But when you really get to know him, he's really a nice person. He just... I don't know... doesn't like being disrespected. Then he just goes off on people. But even when we were younger, he's always been there for me when I needed him. Always. Always protecting me from whatever it may be. Though sometimes I believe he might have gone a little overboard. Such as the situation that happened in this cafe in New York monthes ago. There was this man who had problems with myself and 187. He grabbed my wrist. I didn't even know 187 was in the cafe. He just happened to be there at the right time. 187 took an unloaded gun, it was not loaded okay, he took it and bashed this man in the face. Right in the middle of a public place. As I've said, I do appreciate his protection over me, just sometimes it's a bit much to an extreme that he takes it. I do have love for him. Love for him like a brother. Nothing more..."

Christina can't beliave what she is hearing. She has known that 187 likes to act like a gangsta, but that he is going so far to protect his friend and family is just a bit too extreme. She stops to hold the ice on Kenisha's back, and stares at the wall.
Overprotection good and fine, but don't you think that this has going too far? I mean I hurt people in the ring, before the match and after the match. That is part of my job, but hitting somebody in the puplic with a gun, is nothing I would ever do.
She shakes her head and remain silent.

"Maybe..."
She closed her eyes with a smile on her face.
"Maybe not."
She sat there in the chair with her eyes closed. Letting herself just rest for the time being. She would need it before going anywhere else.
